How did the exhaust sound going down the road? Did it seem to drone or did you have any hard time hearing yourself think while cruising? I want this same exhaust but plan on having a passenger and dont want to kill there ears or have it be annoying.
metzler 880. tire is 160 or 180 I believe. Had to run the washer shim on the right side to make the tire fit right. Should be able to google that. Lower sitting position worked great and did not interfere with the pegs. When I bought the bike it had the seat on it which appeared to be cut down and recovered. Most all of the other mods I completed during the time I owned it.
Nice, what size and brand is your rear tire and were did you get the seat...? Is the lower sitting position conflect with leg room at the foot pegs...?
Super nice and very clean. If I ever dust my 06's motor; PCW is the route I am going too. BTW, what handling mods have you installed and which ones made the biggest difference? Thank's in advance.
running 160 mains, with k/n in stock airbox. I also have aftermarket needles in the carbs. It is a little rich still, could drop to 155 mains. No stage 7, just a frankenstien mix of parts.
i have a 97 with the 1260 bore. stage 7 with 4-1 kerker and the comp tip on it. lowered, after market signals. i love it.

lowered the front about 2 inches. This helped keep the front in from coming up. Racetech springs if I remember correctly.
