  • It's a great song, and Cathy is a real talent as well as a very attractive lady, but all the weird inverted money-shots with the paint are just creepy.

  • her biggest hit?

even though she has been part of the writter team behind: can't get you out of my head, toxic and I kissed a girl...? if she would've kept those songs for her she would one of the most prominent pop acts right now...

  • AAAAHH

I remember listening to this on Atlantic252 years ago.

Isn't it ironic that she wrote so much stuff for Kylie. You could imagine Kylie singing there now. Or is it me :)?

  • She's beautiful and a really talented singer... Lots of comments about the past here... Did any of you know that the singer you remember from this video from the 90s is responsible for more current hits like Kylie Minogue's "Can't Get you Out of My Head" and Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl"? Don't believe me? Google it!

  • "I kissed a girl"

    really?

    I DID.

    im kissing her RIGHT NOW!

    PS

    IM A GIRL TOO

  • THE 90S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • TOOK THE WORDS...

  • Hey guys check out the original version of this song. I had no idea cathy's was a remake. Both are great

Wish feat. Fonda Rae - Touch me (all night long) 1984

  • Zava34: Yep, Wish Featuring Fonda Ray is still the best version, but I do like the Cathy Dennis version, too.

  • This has got to be top 5 greatest dance songs of all time

  • anybody remember that one dance track back in the days and the chorus went like this "1, 2, 3, come train with me, oh oh oh, oh woo woo"

  • the early 90s were an awesome time for dance music.

  • it makes me think brenda and dylan from 90210

  • LOVE this song! I had never seen this video, even though I got the album when it originally came out. There is a remix of this song on ITunes that I have downloaded recently. It is using Cathy Dennis's original vocals with some adding mixing. This song is on my top ten list! I can't believe it''s been 20 years!

  • wow, I have not hear this song close to 20yrs. I'm glad I found this.

  • That was 20 years ago ! Ive still got her "cassingle"".

    what an eduring talent!

  • damn she looks hot in that body suit

  • Great song, produced by one of the best producers of the 1990s, Shep Pettibone

  • wow, i guess beautiful women aren't allowed to sing or act nowadays!!! where did they all go?

  • i would not throw her out of bed for eating crackers!

  • ...hahahaha...ditto! You got good taste, man! :D

  • what if they were your crackers?

  • I would buy her the KRACKERS! and help her eat them, and some chips!

  • LOL!!!

  • those body suits were designed with her body in mind. I have been drooling over cathy dennis for so many years.

  • de los 80s? claro lo mejor del dance y house.mi generacion. saludos desde colombia todos de mazingerzetax

  • this version is good certainly shorter but she gt this from fonda rae ft wish 1984 touch me all night long.

    both are good

  • Totally agree Chingon9

1991 was probably one of the best years of the 1990's for music, this song being just one of many quality tunes from that year

  • ....oh and 1991 was one of the best years in music.

  • .....Cathy Dennis....total package....beautiful and talented....

  • i used to sing this all the time was i was in kindergarden...since then i never knew who sang it! now I know lol

  • Cathy Dennis was so pretty and talented - I wonder what happened to her :) I always loved this song - brings back good memories of the 90s when things seemed well ....... better...........

  • Cathy Dennis has become one of the greatest songwriters of all time. She wrote Britney Spears' "Toxic" and Katy Perry's "I Kissed a Girl." She also composed the famous theme song for "American Idol." So not only is Cathy Dennis stil around, but she is masterminding everything behind the scenes.

  • well that is awsome! learn summin err'day

  • thats cool and i didnt know that. she can write me a song anytime. i love this song. takes me back to the 90's and beverly hills 90210.

  • LoL love this song...was at work and this song came on and like 5 people around me looked at each other (at the same time) and said omg i havent heard this in sooo long....needless to say we had bout a 4min groove session haha good times =D

  • yeah man im not gonna lie I do miss the late 90's

  • i used to masturbate to this video

  • Were you in your early teens?

  • I was around 17 when this song came out

  • Well, you certainly keep it real. I'll give you that. LOL.

  • I was wondering what you were talking about, then it clicked the masturbation lol I can't believe I said that lol

  • Ha Ha Ha! It's all good dude.

  • Me too

  • Everybody is so open about it. LOL.

  • where have the 1990s gone ?!!!

  • what was the acid, dance remix called?

  • Cathy is the toal package...All you new artists need to watch and learn.

  • you speak the truth man

  • Christina Aguilera does all Cathy did and sings even better, (not taking away from Cathy Dennis, I obviously love her) but people need to stop swinging from Britney's tit and recognize REAL talent. GOD, I miss the 90s...

  • Love this song, Cathy is so talented. Singer and songwriter, she can do it all. Damm she's hot in this video :)))

  • WOW I did not know that, Shes Awsome!!!

  • Holy fuckin' flashbacks!

  • Man I've watched this video 5 times already. She is sexy!

  • This song is so true... I love this song makes me feels good inside.. There is no let go..

  • well, this certainly isn't her best work...and maybe it isn't even hers...but if you look at the liner notes in the Kylie Minogue's hits, you'll notice she wrote "Can't Get You Out of My Head", "Come Into My World", and "Toxic" by Britney Spears and "I Kissed A Girl" the recent smash by Katy Perry...Pink, The Sugarbabes, and even the Spice Girls have recorded songs she has written...say what you want..this lady is getting hers. She is also pretty hot if you ask me.

  • I knew that for real they said on the radio i kissed a girl was written by 90's artist cathy dennis i am talking to fujimo

  • mmmmmmmmmm, Cathy,,,,

they don't make girls like this anymore,

  • I really thought the singer of this song was black because of the voice.

  • haha so did I

  • amazing

  • she wrote the verses to this song. And personally I think the original version had absolutely pointless lyrics and they REALLY needed fixing. More power to her.

  • this version is 100% shit, she's took a magic tune and turned it in2 shit

  • Great song. Great songwriter - this may not be hers according to some commments on here but I believe she's written several hits for other artists.

  • she certainly didn't write this tune

  • Cathy Dennis reached #2 the last two weeks of May 1991 with Touch Me (All Night Long) GREAT SONG! I have the CD.

  • not as good as the 84 touch me by wish and fonda rae. i wonder did cathy get permission to do this song. fonda rae has more soul to the song.

  • this all right, but it ain't the orginal.wish and fonda rae always be the best it got more soul to it. cathy knows it not her song.

  • Another weakness of mine showcased here:

    Hot English chicks!

  • i remember this song when i was like 10-11 im searching for all kinds of 90-92 songs. i remember this one

  • Oh my goodness I cannot believe I ran across this song! I must have been 11 when this came out and I used to sneak to listen to this song. LOL

  • I worked in a nightclub and told the dj - this is gonna be a HIT!

I was right and loved every minute of those days...and even lived to tell about it.

  • cathy dennis was such a super star in the 80s. i remember arriving from south africa in london in the 80s and cathy blasted on to the TV screen. i felt id arrived in heaven! london seemed the center of the universe in the 80s compared to anywhere else.

  • Cathy was a super star in the 90's, not 80's.

  • Heyday of MTV.

  • Aw yea! This brings me back to the 80's. I used to do a Mix Show for Kiss 108 in Boston, Massachusetts. This song was in my mix set. Also, I remember going to a concert from row and saw Cathy Dennis right before MC Hammer came on! haha, how old am I now? 38, man I feel old. I must say this song still kicks it. All the sounds and energy this has, it wakes me up. Alright, I'm a man but I like good music. Keep it real y'all. Nice seeing the comments. Dave from Boston Peace out

  • I guess you weren't a very knowledgeable DJ, cause you would've known that this song was from '91, and NOT the '80's.

  • It was released to the public 90/91, I had it in '89. I bought a lot of imports. You may have heard it later because they didn't release it until later. When you belong to a record pool, you get music sometimes 12-13 months even before it even comes close to hitting the radio. Peace out

  • club kiss is onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!! I used to record those shows....stuff like mr. vain...lil suzy...I remember 94.5 had the late night power mix too.....your not that old brother keep the faith!!

  • ha ha lol..thanx...

  • Ah yea! Thanks for the comment. Yea. it was called the 9:56 hotmix with Lady Diana Steele, haha remember that? We were never paid for it but they announced our names and we felt like super stars, LOL. Although, we got to ski for free with Kiss, backstage at some Kiss concerts, that's it though. Have a great Holiday! Dave

  • well you guys kept boston grooving on the way to the clubs...I used to go to vincents in randolf bc I didnt want to dare drive near landsdown street and fight traffic...do you remember how good emerson college's urban programming used to be around the late eighties? magnificent...they covered all the bases...from 10 city to nice rb ..even dean jr. college had a heck of a mixday sat afternoon jam show.....happy holidays

  • wow... been a while since I've heard this song!

  • I love this song!! :D xXx

  • OMG!

    This takes me back!

So far tonight, I've had flashbacks of Expose, Tara Kemp, Rick Astley, In Living Color and the Fresh Prince.

    I'm so old!

  • Too cool. Fresh Prince and In Living Color are accurate. They were both airing when this song came out.

  • were not getting old..

    were getting wiser. ;-)

  • We are not old. We are retro.

  • I agree! The 80's and the 90's were the best! The music was better and so were the times! Id love to go back too lol.

  • Over 10-15 years later, this song has finally grew on me. The Club mix is murderous.

  • Lets bring this shit back! We must dispose of Lil Wayne first.

  • The spandex was in full effect back in those days! : )

    I really miss the 80's/early 90's. : (

    Thanks for posting!

  • she was sooooo fine,i miss the 80s,i'd do anything to time travel back

  • This is a feel good song, just makes me laugh every time.

  • Ah! childhood hits me! especially at 0:53 (the bridge part)

  • lol to emtqueen, this is a classic the angel city remix isn't as bad as i first thought it!, but still this song is a classic

  • Dude, I loved this song when I was a kid and I totes did not get it. My parents let me listen to it to my heart's content and never explained to me what it was about. Retroactively corrupted childhood!

  • Is there another kind? ;)

  • Growing up in the '80s and '90s ruled.

  • Amen!!!

  • This video gave me a boner.

  • this is the shit yo love it

  • this song reminds me of the B.H. 90210 senior prom episode:))))

  • me too. that's why i don't like it as much. that show made me SICK.

like, ohhh... myyyy... goshhhh... it's like, TOTALLY prom night, guys.

  • this waz tha era when music waz truly diverse.....i remember growin up listening to sinead o connor, lisa stansfield, cathy dennis amy grant etc it waz kool...i waz around 5 or 6 during this time and it didnt matter about race as long as people kan dance to it or had a good rhythm...kinda miss those dayz.

  • Awesome song-the remix sucks i think, by angel city DX

  • Nice Dress....

  • the 90's rule!! the 2000's sucks!!

  • I agree...everybody knows..the music dies in 1998...
