  • this is simultaneously the best and worst thing i have ever seen in my entire life.

  • too fast

  • A great Impression :D one of the best i´ve seen so far, cause you´ve got the voice and the accent. the only thing missing i kinda the acting. you know with the pauses and such, but i still gives you thumbs up :D

  • It doesn't have the charm!!! God, I need to watch Waynes World 2.

  • Mega WIn

  • i picked this for my drama class too lol

  • *claps* respect where it's due

  • That Was Great aplaud this man!!!!

  • A bit fast, but it was good! I like the Led Zeppelin song choice in the beginning. :)

  • you dont sound anything like him. you sound like dick van dyke.

  • you're rushing it. slow down a bit.

  • shit

  • Good Job Dude I did the same Monologue for my Drama Class but My teacher told me to be more over the top so mine is very differen

  • not a bad effort dude! its ur timing thats the only problem, slow down a bit, i love it tho, ive been working on my london accent for ages, my del preston isnt too bad

  • Good job! I love this Del Preston comedy monologue, only second to the Bill Murray Dali Lama Caddyshack one. Long live Ralph Brown! Talent

  • it's good, except that it's all the same volume and the timing is kind of wierd

  • We USE our vocal chords.

  • u gotta do the super wide-eyed thing

  • You've gone from stoned southern English to south african to a posh Keith Richards and then to a Birmingham accent. Make your mind up mate...;)

Check out Withnail and I for the original

  • lol yeah withnail and i is a good film, but isnt the actor of del preston english himself ?? sorry i could be wrong

  • Yeah, the actor's English - Ralph Brown. He played Danny, a very similar character, in Withnail and I. I assume the makers of Waynes World had seen the film and thought he'd be perfect for the part.

  • LOL! Keep in mind, I'm American. I know the difference between different American accents. It's too hard to immitate "one English" accent and stick with it and not transition into accents from different places in England. I CAN tell the difference and immitate the difference between English, Irish and Scottish but, of course, it's too hard to know the sub-accents within each.

  • You've got your coxney, That's Londoner, Posh, that's us Surrey folk, Scouse, that's liverpool, Jourdy, Newcastle, Sommerset accent... thats like... well... farmer-ish... I think you wanted stoned Londoner with a lisp, not an easy accent to put on I must say.

  • You have the voice right but your timing isn't exactly right, he had a slow voice with a few dramatic pauses.

  • why is this coming up in my searches for the real thing????

  • quite good this

  • Just not as funny as the origional, the accents a bit on and off to

  • timing is a bit off

    but it was ok :)

  • this is what i hate about youtube.. people taking something good, and making it cheap and crappy

  • YA this is fucking shity

  • hey man great imperssion!! lol i'm hopin to get into a drama college as well

  • the guy doing this video. this is for you. many many of us here in england quote this classic scene, credit to you for posting your own tribute to del up here.

  • thanks! i never would have thought this scene would be so big in england lol i learn something knew everyday

  • yeah i agree with you. english people rock and i love this scene :)

  • im doing this monoluge for my exam lol

  • good job!

    Excellent! ;)

  • Guitarguru has it right. More emotion, and SLOWDOWN!! :p other than that, good job.

  • wait how the hell do you do that accent? i really wanna learn, it sounds so cool! you apparently had a lot of practise at it coz you're really good. i'll try to practice as well for the accent :P you made me want to

  • needs more emotion and slow it down a bit

  • Ohhh the beginnings perfect.. haha im doing the same monologue for a competition at my college after i play a piece

its great what uve done.. remember that del preston is really slow in the head because of the drugs.. so you have to make yourself sound distant

    anyways keep it up!

  • Wow, you sound just like him!

  • too fast

  • I had to beat them to death with their own shoes... classic

Loving the accent, but you should slow it down a little, drag it out like you're a really fried burn out...

    Great job though :)

  • Good. But hes right. You have too do the bit asif you have taken enough Drugs to fill a brandy glass.

    Very good stuff

  • Wow. I'm coincidentally doing the same monologue for highschool Drama.
