I feel like if you went to this concert that like acid would feel really tame. I think pretty much every drug would feel kind of mundane after this concert.
RDJ is not only just the king of electronic music.. He have proved that almost the whole scene stands on his arms and we all hope that he will release some new material one day.

It's too bad computer musicians can't move around during live sets. I think the stillness of the artist compared to the frenetic pace of the music has a strange, almost pathetic, dichotomy.
Did i mention anything about Carboard lamb........I was simply stating that there is a track on there written by Aphex Twin, which you stated that there was not. If what you mean by a few months as being 204 months then yes your are correct, I bought my first Aphex Twin record in 1994and have had the pleasure of owning every release since. Now by my calculations when I bought my first Aphex Twin EP you were the ripe old age of 6. Did not mean to upset you in previous comment. Enjoy the Twin!
im sick of all you fake bitches that listen to aphex for a few days, and think you can actually dispute anything to somebody who has been listening to him since the early 90s
I'm so sick of people who think they are cooler then me because they listened to someone else's music before me.
Ive only really gotten into aphex twin a few months ago, and I have to say some of his tracks are beautiful brilliance,,,while others are pure dark garbage that doesnt even sound like music. Dispute that!
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
i agree with the kaptienhenk guy, this music ISNT anything special. nobody will listen to his shit 10 years down the road where as classic bands like AC/DC, led zepelin, and the rolling stones will always be listened to. this guy needs to stop making "music"
AC/DC is the ultimate in DOUCHEBAG listening. You have no business commenting on music your dumbass mind cannot grasp. Where do you get off saying people wont listen to this music 10 years down the road when some of first material came out in '89? Youre a dumbass
Your musical ear is depressingly limited. If you honestly can't hear the detail and quality in Aphex Twin's music, you're missing out on something truly special.
@KaunisRoheline23 It's by the Tuss, who is very likely to be one of RDJ's many aliases. The track is called Rushup 1 Bank 12. It's much better with full quality audio
how is he live??does it pay do see the master himself live?i mean is it like he'd play a few of his records and that's it, or is he as hot as a rockband live?requesting answears!!!
Thanks man! I gonna see him live at the "donaufetsival" krems, austria and luke vibert is gonna play one hour befor he begins and i hope that they both will play a little bit together at the end of the aphex twin show! the only problem: It's only an aphex twin dj-set ;-(
Indeed! It was great! (but a bit too loud, to be honest) and before the show he went trough the crowd, with luke vibert!!!! only 3 metres away from me!!
i NEED the name of the track playing right at the beginning, a few seconds in. not cardboard lamb, but the one right after that, you hear the melody play a few times then it goes into rushup bank 12 or whatever. that melody is freaking euphoric.
Experimenting with just a plain fx module, a Roland SH-101 and an old taperecorder, i used to create simular noisez. ... then i got bored, sold my SH-101. Still own the recordings though the recorder went bust a long time ago.
Prffffrthhhh I hate internet arguing but I just can't read your moronical comment without replying to it.. I produce music myself but the things that Aphex is capable of assumingly no one is.. the diversity in drums isn't really all that "nothing special really", nor is his finer hearing for sounds that fit with eachother and his ability to create an unique atmosphere with each track he made.
so.. trust me, readin ur thing got boring while I was at it.
i read somewhere that he wrote the sequencing/mixing software that he uses live and in the studio it also generates alot of random drum loops which kinda works out cause it would be surely far too laborious too program all those hits wouldnt it? secretly i hope he does although either is still cool
i love this clip, especially with the song rushup bank. though it's kinda strange to just see mr. james hunched up there not really knowing what he's actually doing. anybody have any idea what he uses? ableton live? cdj's? turntables? any clues?
