For the 10W 1foot tube you need 12V/80V transformer (or 15V/120V), core assembled with a gap.

I like the buzzing of the trans...:). How much current does it draw?
@turgi65 The Power is 12V 5A :P
This was a beta inverter. I updated the inverter to a portable version. The new version is only 2 transistor and 1 resistor :)
