It's fine. 12 Cells is more powerful at 14.4V vs 7.2V but 12C is harder to control, more broken parts and for a beginner, not the way to go. Yes 50+mph sounds cool but its VERY hard to control at top speed and one wrong turn could end up in havoc. Shoot me a PM if you have more questions
@jugglesandmrmathess I don't own this truck anymore haha. I ran my DX2.0 in it for a long time before I traded it for a 1/8 buggy. Converted that with a MMM on 5S and now I no longer own that either!
@jugglesandmrmathess Yup, with the X-Can exhaust on it. Going to swap that with a Jetpro though. The 1/16 Revo was a fun truck, but after a while it just kept falling apart on the smallest of jumps. If you really want a brushless mini RC, get the new RC18T2 Brushless one, it'll run you around $200 on amainhobbies and I've got the older 18T, the only part I've broken were stripped spur gears, that's it.
@phoenixfire47 nice friend me, cuz i do have the mini revo i use it for speed not for alot of jumping untill i get upgrades, but main reason i got is its waterproof, and i wanted to drive the car on water, iv managed to do this in water over my head bout 3-5 meters long, for christmas i hope to get a 3s lipo batery and to accive the guines world record for the longest rc car water skip, but not until next summer
12 cells is faster the higher the cells the more voltage you have. for example 7cell = 7.2volts 14cell = 14.4volts. and the more voltage you have the faster you go.
No of course not, this is just where we go during camping season as much as we can, its like a vacation home except in a 40ft park model and with a very nice community in the grounds
Well in the video I was running a single 1200mAh 7.2v NiMH but I do also run two 1400mAh 7.2v's in Series for 14.4v 1400mAh but on this lip its too much power for any good control in the air
okk thanks

sorry i miss informed its 6cell = 7.2volts not 7cell. 7cell wich you can also purchase is 8.4volts.

@phoenixfire47 theres a control on the new 2.4Ghz system ( if you have it) that you can increase or decrease depending how fast your going.

jugglesandmrmathess 1 year ago
@jugglesandmrmathess It was too weak, too many weak points. I have a 1/5 gasser coming in hopefully by monday now, traded the buggy for it.

Exactly but your information is wrong, its 7.2V for 6 cells and 14.4V for 12 cells ;). 14 cells would be 16.8V and 7 cells is 8.4V

lol...I must have been day dreaming about my e-maxx. My bad.

Haha no problem. I'm guessing you have the E-Maxx 3905?

so r u just running this on a single 7.2 volt 3000mah battery stick?

i'm assuming this is on a 6 cell nimh, not a 6 cell lipo? if it is a lipo what esc are you runnning...
concreat1 2 years ago
Nope. 6C NiMH. I do have 12C NiMH but off this lip it was impossible to control it midair on 12.
