i can't stand the way the writers end this ... this was a horrible ending to such a great couple.. what they should've done was have chris get shot then, go into a coma, wake up from the coma 5 or 6months later, then have rita and chris decide to leave the police force to go off to do other things, so that they could come back and do appearances on later episodes...i can't stand the way they ended this.. did they ever find out who killed chris....

there have only be three series that have made me cry, Beauty and the best when linda hamilton charactor died, The highland when Tessa died and duncan was standing in the shop remembering her and this series after Chris died. Great acting from all the people in each series i mentioned.

To this day I believe that Chris faked his death and Rita and Chris are living a happy life with their family........hey I can dream, right!?
