I do think the barrett is the best gun in mw2. i utterly love search and destroy using this gun. i really take care of the enemy base then blow them up while i use this weapon! you guys got the most recent map pack yet? it's top i have only down loaded it by mw2forfreeZinfo (replace Z with . ) a couple of days ago personally

guns like the scar have been engineered to produce straight back recoil rather than vertical or horizontal reoil, thus producing a vibrating/ sleight shaking recoil.. but if you think about it infinity ward would most likely lose money because who wants to buy a game that they wont be good at? i wouldnt say its noob friendly, because i play with people all the time that end up 0-17 you cant possibly say its a noob friendly game when the noobs do bad.
