  • i hate people that say kickers arent important would the saints have gone to the super bowl if hartley didnt nail that field goal kickers are very important to the sport of football

  • @HB3forsoccer it says 40 yards in the description

  • how far out is that?

  • Can you join the Cowboys? PLEEEEEEEASE?

  • really smooth

  • u made dat ball yuurr bitchhh :))) jaja

  • hey dude.Im a sophmore in highschool and i am starting kicker. I love how crisp your kicks are,its so flawless,i just thought your steps were weird, but hey if your consistant and it works, use them.Anyways i kick almost exactly like you do, and its obvious it works. My furthest field goal is a 55 yarder.I also can get touchbacks very easily on kickoffs. i have had personal trainers and i am doing almost everything right,if i send you a video of some kicks could you check it out and see if there i

  • wouldn't that be a 57 yd field goal because you add 10 for the end zone and 7 for the trajectory?

  • NICE

  • why cant i kick like that =[

  • Timing is the key. You need steps that keep you accelerating through the ball. It should be a gradual buildup of momentum. Almost as if you are jogging down a gradual decline to your moment of peak acceleration, which is when you want to contact the ball. Keep your chest up, your eyes on the ball, and pull your left arm hard while your leg swings up and through the ball. Jog down the field for about 10 yards every kickoff. And your steps should never be choppy. Hope that helps.

  • Any advice for kickoffs?

  • gott em! ur huge for a kicker though lol. so am i

  • @p0wertek me too! lol

  • No. It is just the accepted method which puts the kicker the best distance from the ball to get the kick off in time

  • is it a rule that you HAVE to take 3 steps back?

  • @jdogjr9509 nope. just a standard form for most kickers, gives you a decent distance to get some power behind the kick, but doesnt always give the D line time to get to you.

  • GO TO PENN STATE (even though we suck this year)

BUT OUR SPECIAL TEAMS ARE AMAZING!!!!!

  • No team currently, but that will change soon. Penn State, Wisconsin... For practice, about 11 to 12 pounds. And use the size ball that is going to be used in your league. High school, college, etc. To kick further? With a developing leg I would reccomend a good stretch routine, regular practice, and short sprinting workouts. This will develop the fast twitch muscle fibers in your legs. There are more advanced drills once you develop further. Good luck all.

  • @swiger416 keep up the good work man. great drive step!

  • u freakin kill it

  • Im just starting kicking and can only kick about 40 yard field goals. any suggestions on how to kick further?

  • not trying to sound like a queer, but in your best opinion what is the best balls to use for kicking and the amount of air pressure?

  • You easily could have made 60 yards damn i wish i could have kicked like that this year. Wow. God bless you for kicking like that

  • Those are great kicks haha. Who do you kick for?

  • Slightly forward and a little to the right. A good cleated shoe on my plant foot and a tight fitting soccer cleat on my kicking foot.

  • @swiger416 how do you angle the ball

  • I did. Many times. The most was 108,000.

  • @swiger416 Ann Arbor?

  • amazing kicks, but could you imagine kicking those when there are 75,000 people screaming?

  • what kind of shoes do u wear?

  • How do you angle the ball?

  • good form! looks like a chris sailer kid

  • and why aren't you in the NFL? haha good kicking dude

  • and why aren't you in the NFL? haha good kicking dude

  • your a monster

  • HE NAILED EACH ONE OF THEM

  • Whoa! Thats gotta have 60+ on it.

  • Nice kicking man, you got a leg.

  • swiger416, this really helped me kick. Now i can kick field goals from 20-50 yards. Go to Washington or Dallas, they fired, or are going to fire their kicker

  • I'm going to try to do that soon. 12-01

  • hey jason i really like the way you kick. I am only a sophmore in high school and have started to kick for varsity. Do you have any tips on how to work on my kicking. ill trie and post a video by the end of the week hopefully. I am using cleats that are 1 size smaller and i am kicking soccer style. How can i work on my kicking???

  • One step kicks, two steps, and then your normal kicks. And let me tell you something...the best thing I ever did that helped my kicking, was just take off the kicking shoe. I'll lookout for your video.

  • HOLY CRAP YOU KICKED THE HELL OUT OF IT

  • did really show u how to kick with good form???

  • geez, you was kicking the crap out the ball.

  • Thanks for posting. I'll share this with my kid when he gets a little older. Is this an NFL or college kicker?

  • I notice that not many kickers take three steps to the side anymore. Back in the day, it was always 3 back and 3 to the side. Did it become known that 3 to the side was disadvantageous? Seems like kicking tequniques vary way more these days. Hard to learn watching so many different styles. You def. have yours workin. Great job.

  • omg ur tha shitt at kicking!!!

  • any suggestions on what kind of cleats i could buy and what stretches and workouts i can do?

  • If you are serious then you should buy two different types of cleats. The plant shoe should be snug and comfortable with good cleats on it that allow for maximum traction. The kicking shoe should be one size too small for your foot. It should be a soccer shoe with molded cleats. Soak it in soapy water and wear it around until it dries a few times before you kick with it. It will stretch out perfectly before long.

  • Thank you to all. It took a ton of work and dedication. But i'm not done. Just on a break. It is tough to break into the NFL.

  • Hey you're amazing. If you could get a slow motion shot or even just one from the side it would be hugely helpful. Keep it up. I have no doubt i'll see you on monday night football soon.

  • @swiger416 hello jason. I am my high schools kicker this year. i have never played football in my life but they need a kicker. i play soccer and i have a leg so thats why i am ganna kick. Could u give me any advise or anything to help me?

  • is there a special name for those tripod tees? iv been trying to buy one but i can't find one anywhere

  • yes there is a name for them the one that i bought was by wilson and was called pro kick

  • You can make one for less than 5 dollars at home depot. But one 8 ft. stick of 1/2 in pvc, a three way connector with a threaded female, and a threaded male connector. Cut two pieces 24 in. and one piece 18 in. Screw the male into the female and plut the pvc lengths into the connectors. There are other variations as well.

  • nice job. where'd you learn how to kick like that?

  • Orgasmic: both form and distance :-)

  • Your technique and follow through are gorgeous. You have the ability to make the ball float rather than fly.

  • When Are You Going To Get Drafted?

  • hey great job man

  • nice boot and awesome sound when the ball comes off your foot!

  • U. of Akron 03-05. Thanks.

  • Good kicking. Do you play college ball?
