  • i could never do pro mma i couldn't take a hit like that easy

  • hahaha 69 likes! xD ...69

  • All the haters here are stupid im pretty sure in the video its called a "demonstration" which means its going to be slow for "learning" in a real fight you will do what he shows you alot more quicker then what he shows lol so the person you block by that time you'll already have them on the ground so why would u sit and say they could throw another punch with other arm.

  • To skip that annoying intro --- 0:12

  • he will open up a big big ass

  • One problem. A profesional fighter don't throw far hooks anymore. Not unless he is a moron. Hooks is only sepouse to be used when close to someone. Far hooks is way to easy to spot. This type of block is also more of a reflex than a teqnique. I didn't learn anything on your video. Thumbs down.

  • the other guy could throw a elbow it it could gush out blood 2 so pretty much he is screwed cause if you catch a hook pretty much there gone swing with the other hand

  • some day i will use this

  • this is a good technique when it comes to someone who is throwing a haymaker u can do alot of moves at that point since all his body is open up..but if someone is throwing a jab/straight then ur pretty much in trouble if u dont know what u doing

  • I don't even take MMA and i know this is wrong..

  • HAHAHAHA WRONG!

  • I wonder why i have never seen that move used in an MMA-fight...

  • i love to block and slam right after i dont use my elbos on the face alot more into the body when there down to weaken there guard

  • well usually that would be a good way to block but usually people dont fight like that unless they are pissed and wailing fist at your head

  • moo thai

  • I use this block all the time against roundhouse punches. The main problem is that he steps in to do block; if he hadn't stepped in then the strike would not have hit him. If the strike would not have hit him, then why would the aggressor have thrown it. You are actually doing an elbow strike to the bicep of the connecting tendon. They will not use that arm again for a while. But I would never do an elbow to the forehead. That will just hurt me a lot.

  • tango down

  • So amateur, looks like another karate gym gone MMA to attract customers. NEVER attempt to block like this, that' not even a good parry block, that's for point sparring in karate which would never work in a real fight

  • but at the beginning wouldnt he be able to punch him with his free arm coz the instructors face isnt protected

    confused. =/

  • Inexpert Village. Unexpert Village. Nonexpert Village. Stop putting out this phony junk.

  • instead of critisising show us how it should be done or shut the fuck up and if u know so much why you all here watching leave that for us who wanna learn...lames!Q!!!

  • @kellenhinkle18 bro that muay thai? if u r in MMA or think u knw MMA u wud knw that a real block. this guy teaches basic stuff in only a couple minutes. he aint that bad.

  • were the hell did they find this guy ?

  • another ma claiming mma

  • machida sometimes parries like this, but it's not a move for 99% of people

  • has no idea what hes doing gtfo bro

  • This is WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG WRONG

  • The guy in this video sucks. Another wannabe on youtube posing as an instructor. These guys have no competitive experienc and never fought but they're "experts".

  • This is useless without context. It could work, but it would be a huge mistake to use against a punch that wasn't fully committed.

  • ha where the fuck will this work.

  • Bullshit!

  • bullshit

  • I block like that but I send a punch to the stomach quickly then when I don't do this I will get the next punch coming

  • ish

  • IF U BLOCK LIKE THIS YOU WILL STILL GET PUNCHED HE WILL CONTINUE THE PUNCH YOU HAVE TO BLOCK FROM THE FIST

  • He never ever blocked like this in a real fight. I know this, because he still has teeth.

  • I wish I knew moo-thai

  • @mrkibbles369 hahahah

  • TERRIBLE people who don't know how to fight PLEASE don't block like this, for your safety, they have a lil something called "COVERING UP" which requires you're whole arm, and it's very effective, and is used in the UFC by GREAT fighters

  • This Dosent help you i did MMA 9 years now they never taught me this,

but that guy focuses on that right arm too much i can easily go through with a left jab and take control of him. when he;s on the ground

  • damn love these vids!

  • i got a street match on monday and that looked dumb imma stick to my technic

  • @megasexytt howd u do

  • @WhiteKoaz I won we are friends now lol yes i no it's weird

  • @megasexytt haha nice

  • @megasexytt

You got a street match? Shut the fuck up faggot. You got a street meeting where you're going to get your ass fucked by multiple cocks faggot.

  • @stealthkiller2107 LMAO why would you think about a 13 year old child fucking cocks are you a petifile. and yes i did have a street match and i won. i was looking on the internet for demonstrations for help and what he was doing looked sloppy instead of being a gay guy who thinks about 13 year old boys having sex with guys why don`t you get a life

  • @megasexytt

You're a 13 year old and you went for a street fight? lol...with who? Other little kids LMAO

Quit trying to sound all hard on the internet you faggot.

  • @stealthkiller2107 i wasn`t trying to sound hard you asshole i was asking people for help i don`t even know you you troll and if im a faggot why do i have a girl friend

  • @megasexytt You really don`t have no life do you? arguing with a 13 year old boy.

Or perhaps you have not had a girl friend in years so you spend your time on the internet arguing with random people you don`t know. hmm mabey its because your a 40 year old vergin who spends his time all day playing video games

  • awesome

  • anyone who blocks like that is a fool witing to get knocked out

  • WHAT IN THE NAME OF GOD?! This guy is not a MMA trainer...u do not block punches like that in MMA. Maybe karate!!!

  • The best offense is a good defense!

  • when you do that couldn't just puch you with the other hand?

  • you can but elbows are much more powerful if you know how to use them

  • @alexandra818 not if you counter quickly/ as he demonstrated, take them down RIGHT AFTER

  • Don't ever try and block like this if you are doing MMA. It won't work.

  • cool

  • Comment removed

  • Bring your momentum forward??? Are you stupid.. What if your bringing your momentum forward and he misses you are knocked the fuck out I know these punch blocking techniques are for karate but cage up its easier

  • good stuff

  • dose it work when its a straight punch??

  • AND START POUNDING. the end.

  • Wow i was really hoping for something better when i saw the little info box for the move. On top of that what really pisses me off is that no one throws a punch like that and if they do they shouldn't be fighting

  • This actually is a technique used in muay thai this one wasnt very good but its definitly a thai technique for evryone talkin about karate and stuff

  • this is shit when he blocks his fucking wide open karate is all bulshit and i done mma for 2 years i know what karate all do its bulshit mma was ok now i do muai thai and i think its better its faster and more fun

  • this block is a muay thai technique its used fairly often by many muay thai fighters

  • dude i have been doing mouy thai for a while and if you did it im sure you would know how its spelled and also i do mma and mma is wherer its at

  • This block works, but I wouldn't rely on this karate style hard block in the street. The punch is really aweful.. who the hell punches like that?.. You can see the attacker would love to slot him with a left.. and why not, that guard is barely there! The osoto-gari is shameful - no reap :( That was just a clothes-line to the throat.. Not the most effective on a experienced street fighter or bigger person.

  • This guy is good. I like his stuff.

  • ima stop watchin this guys videos its not good...

  • thats almost more ninjutsu than muy thai

  • not really, looks more like karate with his blocking

  • actually yeah it does. dunna what I was thinking. never took karate so I guess I didn't think about it. I have studied a lot of muay Thai though and this doesn't have much of a Thai feel, save the elbow. Yeah anyways expert village videos always suck

  • That's Muay Thai???? Lol

  • It's muay Thai dickhead and it works well during fast fights, you just have to do it properly

  • hahaha i like the ending!!!!!!!!!

  • i mean if you are actually in a fight you dont have time to throw ur hand out to push away his hand you either parry, slip the punch or block by making your arms parallel up to your face where your fists lay on the top of your head then counter. and moo tie or w.e the hell ur said is not any martial arts its muay thai. (moiii tttiiiee)

  • never ever block like this otherwise your shit will be fucked

  • wat r u talking about?

  • lol great comment. hahaha i like it.

  • This is the only type of block that works, if executed properly (not like this though). You're not qualified to make a comment on this.

  • @kellenhinkle18 Yeah, but if ur fighting some dumb nigger on the streets that doesn't know what hes doing, hes not going to expect shit.

  • the block and strike sucks,

the ju jitsu s-block would be

    more appropriate..REXQUANDO!!

  • people can take elbows, and when they do, you cant just stand there.

  • 0:27 why in the world would'nt you punch straight, if you curve like that your gonna get blocked unless you use your left

  • You would have to be fast otherwise the attackers freehand can punch you, also the forehead isnt the best place to hit, as its very hard and can hurt you more them it does him.

  • hahah REXQUANDO! hahaha

  • nice

  • you should watch ur right arm...it was completly down while jumping forward ur opponent leaving ur chin wiiiide open.

  • WANT TO SEE FUNNY VIDEOS!

    THEN TYPE IN Samuri192

IF U THOUGHT THEY WERE FUNNY PLZ SUBSCRIBE TO SEE MORE VIDEOS

  • this guys a faggot

    i could kick his ass

  • u kids need to shit the fuck up cause i dont think you know half the stuff these guys know

  • They guy is just teaching "BASIC" moves for people to defend themselves, they are not incredibly hard moves that take years to learn. Stop bitching about how he is teaching on this video. Yes you may be better than him, no one cares. Give it a rest

    You guys are really pathetic......honestly

  • WTF then why would he drop his right hand like that wide open to be punched in the face, mainly in a street fight when some people just swing wildly. he is going to get some one KO'd or worse. Look at :28 seconds

  • go watch mma fights NO one uses a regular up block it dosent work it leave your entire body open for anything its only good for myabe tkd vs tkd not mma buddy ive never used it once and ive been fighting for over 10 years

  • i like cheese

  • dude this guys an idiot thats a white belt taekwondo block i learned that when i was like 8 years old

  • that elbow would fuck ya right up

  • oooh my God! You are such a moron... there is no f***ing outer forearm block in Muay Thai...that was Karate or Taekwondo...what the hell do you think you are doing...again that was a Forearm bash and not an elbow strike and even more clearly not a Muay Thai strike.. you have no training in Muay Thai at all do you....Don't Try and teach stuff that you can't even do yourself...I have ZERO recpect for your ability to teach MMA because you clearly have no Idea what you are saying.

  • I would go elbow against any ear of the opponent, That will cause confusion in his sight,, booyah.

  • im new to mma i want to start fighting but do i need to like take karate or wrestling to get good suggestions will be appriciated

  • Ive been fighting for 2 years...go into karate....cause remember that every fight starts standing up...it teaches you everything you need to kno about striking, takedowns, takedown defence, and submissions

  • mix your arts! you will want some grappling, but too many people focus just on that. You need striking as well. Grappling works 1v1 but not against several opponents (as possible in a street fight, where ground is the last place you want to be.) 4 sport, I would get some Jiu Jitsue for grappling, and mix it with Muay Thai or Kickboxing for striking.

MRDx37 had a good suggestion as well.

    Hope this helps.

  • i always thoght that too at a ju jitsu turnement i saw a guy wrestling 4 people in between matches he must have been like and olympic level wrestler it was awsome i did not know you could do that i leard alot fromit he moastly just tossed them around

  • Screw the forehead, attack the nose. You can cut and break at the same time. Besides, that will bring instant tears to the eyes, giving you enough time to run and bounce off the ropes and execute the flying butt-scissors to the face! WHOOOO- WEE!!!

  • oh thats cool

  • yea sure hit the forehead see how that works out for yah trying to throw another elbow with that arm after you hit the dudes forehead, think, just aim for the nose its the dude recoils, that you get his jaw if he is a boxer and ducks in you get the side of the heaad and hopefully a knockout

  • Ah, it`s Bokator(double ellbow) but it doesn`t work. If he is close enough for ellbow, the opponent is able to use his left fist to punch...hence -both will get hurt.

Better take a look to WT !

  • First of all, it's just a block. It would work the same way, weather the other guy stepped forward or not. Secondly, good fighters are constantly moving and changing position, including the distribution of weight on each foot. It's just one judo technique that can work given the situation that the attacker has the majority of his weight over his right leg. It takes a great amount of timing to take advantage of these opportunities and capitolize with the right takedown.

  • What the hell this guy is retarded

  • if you know fighting, i dont need to explain anything.

  • thats why u lead with yuourjab,andalwaysmovesidetoside..

  • this guy iz probably an awesome fighter, but i dont think hes ever used this move!! who punches with the right and takes a step forward wit the right?? no body

  • unless your in a street fight I wouldn't recommend this block because if the guy throws a straight punch you will eat it. of course brawlers or in street fights statistics shows that swings are the primary attacks so this block would work. But I prefer using my kind of blocks because this one leaves you open.

  • This block is bullshit. period.

  • explain please?

  • i dont know the shoto gari, but i know how to do the move, i know like a million judo techneiques but dont know the names...

  • lol!good luck!

  • dis is very gud but like u sed remember to step in the the punch, then the elbow will have much more devestating blow causing a cut or even a knockout. lol

  • that was gnarly

  • that is bs!! sure you could block like that, but you would have to have an extremely sharp reaction time, and your enemy would have to go for a swing rather than a straight punch (which is usually the case in street fights). NOT PRACTICAL!

  • Well, most streetfighters would use a swing not a boxing style straight right. This block and elbow counter works a treat but yeah as you say from a straight punch you want to be parrying with your left on the outside of the attacking arm to open up a shot to the head. If in doubt use the side stopper which is the left arm brought up quickly and tightly to the side of your head with your elbow pointing toward the attacker and your chin tucked right down which it always should be anyway.

  • Well most streetfighters would throw a hook or wild swing not a boxing style straight right and this block and counter does work a treat from a swing but yeah you would be better off blocking the outside of the attacking arm if it was thrown straight.

  • what if he blocks with his other arm? just wondering

  • muay thai = thaiboxing... the most deadly competitive striking art...

  • wtf is moo thai?

  • lol he means muay thai..he seems very keen on judo so his moo thai may not be that good..

  • Waaaaaaaaaoooooow... lol

  • haha that last part was so random
