  • Reaganomics and War on Drug advocates created this "original sin" idea about American youth where we are all depraved cold-harted bastards until we are 21. Its a War on Youth where we become objects to control.

  • LOL in this economic crisis they could tax alchol and the make it 18 for kids to drink and legalize marihuana and tax the shit out of it so then the economic crisis would be over

  • American kids are kids till they are 21 and that's how older people and society views it they are not respected and this leads to the immaturity which is none existent in the European youth they are trained to be an adult from an early age and they are respected members of society not considered senseless children like in the USA 21 is the legal drinking age in america because of your Molly coddled society

  • It is a Crime that a non-drinker with Military ID can't enter in some bars just because of their age.

  • I cant even enter a Liquor store

  • In europa we can drink with 16 beer and with 18 vodka!

  • @Schandeman Yep, USA has some ridiculous laws ;)

  • @Schandeman not in all countries, so countries has agelimit on 18 with beer and vodka for 20 and some 18 with everything

  • WHO THE FUCK WOULD WANT TO DRINK NATTY ICE. WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH THIS COUNTRY???!!!!!!

  • I don't give a damn about the drinking age. Let's lower the living age. Lower that to around 3. Then you kill them. For the lulz.

  • This is stupid. The Government taking power. It should be 18, why?

-Because 18 year olds can wed, can vote, can fight in the army, and can smoke.

    Why not drink?

-The economy would boom, because those 18-20 years old added on would make alcohol production and sales increase, better for the economy and the government.

-18 year olds are responsible enough, if they can move out of their houses and be financially stable, they are responsible enough to drink in controlled environments.

  • @Coshka77 One more thing, that I couldn't fit. Under 21 drink anyway. The ages which people drink in youth are generally 12-21. If you lower it to 18, the person would think, well I have 6 more years left (at 12) instead of "oh I have 9 years left, I can't wait" Pressures will rise. The drinking age is way too high. Look at the nations around us, and in the EU, they have it down to 18 and 16. And how much irresponsible consumption exists there? Way less than ours. It just doesn't make any sense.

  • @Coshka77 agreed I'm 19 and not a fan of having to try and do a beer run and risk getting caught because I have noone to buy for me

  • the narrator sounded drunk...

  • thanks to photoshop and a few tricks with my expired, unrenewed passport, the drinking age is whatever I want it to be.

  • Sorry, I won't join the movement...I could drink when I was 18, and they changed the law shortly after...and they were right! 18-20 year olds are NOT, in general, responsible enough to call someone for a ride if they drink! I look forward to your letters! And, BTW, the commentor in this video sounds like he's tipped a few himself!

  • The states used to make these decisions, but when the Feds decided to withhold interstate highway money from the states that didn't change their drinking age, it was effectively a power grab by the federal govt.

While I support no law at any level defining a drinking age. The system we had before where state and local governments called the shots was much better.

  • if they lowered the drinking age I wouldn't have to keep going to all the local stores and doing a beer run hahahahha

  • I support lowering the drinking age to 18.

    Drink At 18

  • It doesnt affect your bodies the same. Your BRAIN is not fully developed till your mid 20s!

No way should alcohol be added to the undeveloped brain!

  • @tatomuck18 Yea alcohol is bad for teenage bodies. So is smoking, going to a tanning salon and getting plastic surgery, all of which are legal at 18. Just because something is unhealthy doesn't mean it should be illegal. All adults deserve the right to make health decisions for themselves.

  • You see how irresponsible these kids are with booze! YOU KNOW THEY DONT DRINK RESPONSIBLY!

  • @tatomuck18 And 3 years makes a BIG difference doesnt it...?

  • Why do you want alcohol so much? its NOT important! You DONT NEED IT!! Do you wanna be a boozer? Its better off if these kids dont drink at all! No more kids puking out their guts and killing people on the roads!

  • Advocating the lowering drinking age to 17 thanks

  • Okay to start things off, I do think that the drinking age should be lowered. I just cant stand when people use the "If you can join the military at 18, you should be able to drink when your 18". If you wanna drink when your 18 actually join the military. You can drink with a proof of service. Stop saying I should drink at 18 and take your drunk ass to whatever military faction you want to join recruiting center. Stop complaining.

  • I am in the military, and you CAN NOT drink under the age of 21 in fact you can get pretty mess up for doing so

  • drinking affects you spiritually, it's not good at all, but i think if they would allowed younger ones to drink they wouldn't want it so much

  • yur cute.thats wht i think.lol.

but the other suff is so true.you can get your legs blown off in war and when you come home you cant even sip some beer!!

  • if your 16 and wanna drink then give up your license in till your 21 or vise versa i dont wanna get ran over by some 16 year old douche bags hahaha

  • @RenditionMan360 how bout i just pull up on the side of u and just beat the fuck out of u? would tht work better for u?

  • also many hard drugs dont even come close to how much alchohol can fuck you up. yeah they get you the buzz high like alchohol, but alchohol is the best at fucking up all your senses. i have been so drunk that i have woken up in strange places having no recollection of how i got there :\

  • Comment removed

  • In addition to my last comment. If you can do all of those things at 18, then why cant you have a beer, just like someone who is just 3 years older than you. Do the 3 years really make that big of a difference?

  • What do you think happens in European countries? 16 year olds are allowed to drink, they buy for 13 year olds, who have smart drinkers around them who teach them to drink. These safety concerns become habits for drinkers over in Europe. By the time they are 18 (driving age), drinking isnt even that big of a deal. Also, (I love this one) If you are responsible enough to vote for the leader of the US, go to war(possibly die for your country), and be on a jury, Why cant you have a beer?

  • I agree with this, I agree that yes it does just take different amounts to fuck you up. However, when you drink beer when your drunk you know I'm drunk its not like with liquor when it just comes out of no where and your going fuck! I think it should be 18 period but thats just because i'm going to serve my country for the next five years in Januarary but my country tells me I can't drink

  • Its ridiculous! Good luck to you!

  • no, thats completely a different subject! no those things shouldn't be legalized. why even bring that up on this kind of chat?, that makes no scense at all.

  • all i got to say is your completely right!

  • d'ya wanna know what I think?, I think its completly ridiculous that a drinking age is so high, I'll join ur revolution, try and get a Million people all over the world to join & get this silly ass law changed immediatly. peace

  • I believe it should be 16 :P

but thats because the US and UK laws are different :P

  • dude i really dont think the government cares about having a sip, they know people will abuse it and not be responsible about it, thats why.

  • whether the drinking age is or 21 people are going to drink. Like the video said, people want what they can't have! LOWER IT TO 18!!!!

  • I think it's so ironic that you call yourself "the land of the free", when really, you're laws are insanely strict!

  • Sooo many laws, soooo strict. I love this country though.

  • Are you seriously comparing having a sip of beer, with rape and murder?!?! Jeeez

  • The National Uniform Minimum Drinking Age is in deliberate violation of both the 14th and 21 Amendment of the U.S. Constitution!

  • Thank you tatomuck18, for making the most ridiculous argument on a video i have ever seen. I suppose you are also against marijuana legalization huh?

  • DUDE U ROCK!

    LOWER IT TO 18!

  • great video bro

  • also just to let you know Canda also has a Drinking age of 21 its certain territories that are 18 and such

  • WRONG!!!!

It is 18 in most provinces, except in Quebec where it is 19

  • I too believe the drinking age should be lowered to 18 for the same reasons as everyone else you can go to war and marry someone and all that shit now i don't think it should be legal for booze like Jack Daniels or Captain Morgan but as for beer and wine be my gues maybe that would get passed before All drinks legal for 18 idk also if it is legal for you to make a baby why should you be denied a drink

  • Dude, all alcohol will fuck you up the same. it dosent matter if its beer or hard liquor. It just takes different amounts.

  • I don't see a reason not to allow children to drink beer and wine, I drank both with adults and my parents when I was 10. It was never a big deal. It's the reputation that people give alcohol that makes people want to abuse it. I seen even a 6 year old drink beer and nothing happened to him. So beer and wine are ok. Now for liquor, it's just gross, I don't know why poeple like that stuff, I guess it's just because they like the booze feeling!

  • 21 year olds are absolutely no different than 18 year olds. And people look at alcohol as such a terrible thing which I think is unnecessary. Look at how much more sophisticated other countries are when it comes to this.

  • Other countries also have a Blood Alcohol Content less than America does... along with stricter penalties.

  • I have to agree on this one.

  • jajaja no mames.... nooope... americans are too stupid to drink even the ones over 21... those guys are going through what i went through when i was 14..... pinches gringos nomas van y hacen sus estupideces en mexico... ME LA PELAN

  • the narrator sounds like such a fucking stoner

  • is that a bad thing?

  • Your point about being able to do many things like sign contracts and get married at age 18 should not be compared to being able to drink. Alcohol is harder to control than people who want to get married. It does not affect the body the same way between an 18 year old and a 21 year old- the body matures to withhold alcohol at 21.

  • that may be true, but losing a couple million brain cells from alcohol is no where near as harmful as getting blown up by an IED in iraq; something that our government sees as perfectly fine for an 18 year old

  • Not everyone is going in the war in Iraq. No one is forcing them to go to war. They chose to be retarded enough to go.

  • I'm not talking about losing a couple brain cells. 18 year olds have the right to go to war, and have the right never to sign up. There is no draft. It is their choice to join the military. By allowing an underaged teenager to drink alcohol, you are allowing them to take advantage of it and abuse it. I'm as patirotic as they come and serving for your country is amazing, but one should not have the right to argue about being able to drink underage as long as they actually are in the military.

  • Just come to Canada and drink at 18, you'll see how much more fun we have

  • Drinking is boring.

  • im doing a debate on this in school and this helped, thanks.

  • please lower it many people wont die it is so stupid all they do is bull shit and not lower and and have been discussing for many years. just lower the fucking age already jesuz christ O.O

  • Totaly agree with you. once you can have it, you don't want it.

  • I'm a 26yr old, married U.S citizen. Eurpoe knows how to do it. Alcohol is nothing, it's overrated, I'm an alcoholic. Legalize pot and tax it just like alcohol and the economy would be doing great. There so many things you can do with hemp also, Cotton is a plant.

  • Because of this law many Nightclubs are21+ that is why American kids spend their Friday and Saturday nights bored just hanging out in Fastfood parking lots and that is also the reason why drugs are so big in American youth culture

  • trruuuue dat

  • Why just lower it?

    Eliminate it entirely!

  • You mean you want a 5 year old kid being able to legally buy a bottle of rum? are you crazy!

  • How about this: State governors or whoever, introduce legislation to lower the drinking age, basically telling the national government, "we dont need your fucking road money", then add a small tax to alcohol and beer to compensate for the money lost. Sounds like a plan to me.

  • Thank you maker of this video, u just helped me in a huge argument

  • i totally agree with you. this fucking government is crazy they gotta make a choice whether to lower drinking age to 18 or raising the adulthood age to 21. cause this law doesn't sound right.

  • When I join the army, I want to have a cold brew after fighting.

  • I agree alcohol should be allowed from 16years old

Will there be execces? of course there wil, that's what drinking is all about, but the point is to bring alcohol out in the open.

Right now, a 16 year old takes his car, drives to a party drink alcohol and drives back home because he doesn't dare to call his parents about being drunk.

I live in a country were drinking is legal from 16, (I'm now 20) when I go out, I usually take the car, but if I want to drink I ask my parents to drive.

  • Over 40 percent of all the 16-to-20 year olds who died in 1994 were killed in car crashes, half of which were alcohol-related. The number of intoxicated youth drivers in fatal crashes dropped 14.3 percent from 1983 to 1994 -- the largest decrease of any age group during this time period -- indicating that the higher legal drinking age simply saves lives.

  • Misleading statistic. This includes anyone in the accident who had even a sip of alcohol, including bi-standers and people driving with the victims of random accidents.

  • Okay lower it! but if the deaths go up, you and everybody else that think it should be lowered better be responsible for it and take all the blame.

  • "Okay lower it! but if the deaths go up..."

That's why our freedoms are easily being taken away. People like you assign blame to the wrong people. If deaths go up, it's the fault of the people who caused the deaths. A drunk driving crash is the fault of the drunk driver, and alcohol poisoning is the fault of the drinker. Neither one is the fault of libertarians who want people to have personal freedom and the presumption of innocence.

  • Yeah! thats what im saying. Its the fault of the people who choose to drink, duh who else's fault would it be

  • You didn't completely understand what I said.

Drunk driving deaths are the sole fault of the drunk driver. Alcohol poisoning deaths involve no innocent victims. Either way, nobody should be punished simply for drinking.

  • i think it should be 18 to drink and 21 to buy the alcohol.

  • i agree with that. I think 18 year olds should be allowed to buy alcohol at a bar or a pub, but 18's shouldnt be allowed to purchase alcohol at supermarkets or any liquor stores. That should sorta help the binge drinking.

  • DO NOT lower the drinking age! first of all what does the army have to do with drinking? you aren't forced to go into the army, it's a personal choice. second of all, for some at 21 you're out of college and are officially on your own. So isnt it logical to say that you're more mature when you're 21 (or older) than when you're younger than 21??

  • Being in the military is just one of the many points that he made. Actually he barely even mentioned it. Why dont you go and watch the whole thing again and catch the other more serious points. The federal government admits that the law is ineffective. Courts are clogged with MIP cases. MADD cites the same statistics over and over even though they have been proved wrong, misleading, or biased.

  • i dont like to drink and prob still wont drink if it got lowered but yea its is stupid that they say i can go to war live on my own and so many other things but dont think i can control myself enough to drink i mean the only reason that kids do it is because they cant

  • for evidence look at european countries. they have lower drinking ages and less abuse of alcohol. having a lower age allows kids to learn about alcohol in a safe environment.

  • So I can join the army and get sent to Iraq and gamble with my life but I'm not adult enough for a beer? Fuck the US government. Howcome every other country in the fucking world is 18 to drink except this punk ass country? The logic behind the 21 to drink law is like saying 2% of Americans die in traffic accidents so let's get rid of cars. Its fucking stupid. Write your local congressman and let's send a message to Washington to set this fucked up law straight.

  • And you can drink o military bases underage!

  • but cars is a necessary thing in life, so you can travel to places. For drinking, its literally not a necessary thing in life. I agree the drinking age should be lowered to 18 ONLY at bars and pubs, but should stay at 21 if buying from a liquor store or any supermarkets.

  • fuck yeah they need to lower the drinking age...i say that if your old enought to put your life on the line and fight for our country then you should damn well be able to buy a fuckin beer! lower the drinking age!!!!!

  • I've been drinking since I was 16 now I'm 25 and I have ZERO Dui's! Take that MADD! I was taught by my surrounding adults to drink responsibly and if I need a ride to call them and they won't get mad.

  • you can also adoped a child when your 18. both my parents agree whith me to lower the drinking age to 18.

  • the laast part fucked it up for ur 5 stars

  • now for my comments as a professional videographer:

you have some good points, and your arguments are rather valid. some of your ideas you should really expand upon, especially the mindset of an 18-year-old and its relation to getting alcohol regardless of laws. you really should talk more about how teens are pushed underground too.

record your audio somewhere away from fans and airflow, you'll get better results.

and for the love of God get more shots! vary them! never re-use footage

  • having recently turned 21, i can say that there is a change in mindset. i don't need to binge drink, i can get one anytime i want without legal consequences.

I don't look for the law to change right away, but I wish they would start with amnesty for all involved when an overly-intoxicated underaged friend is taken to a hospital. Many deaths would be avoided because nobody would be worried about getting in trouble because they got help. then perhaps the drinking age could be lowered

  • I loved your video and im completely agree. Lower the drinking age!

  • See this is Why history class was so dam important!!! if this silly mutherfuckers would have just stayed awake to Learn that Proabition DID NOT WORK!!!!(almost 60 years before they raised the drinking age) then they should know that 21 does NOT WORK.

  • So you want them to legalize alcohol for EVERYONE including 5 year old kindergartners!

  • i agree completely with this video

  • Maybe to the age of 19.

Or atleast make it legal to drink and buy beer and wine at 18, and spirits and liquor at 21.

  • Prohibition definitely didn't work in the 20's. It's definitely not working now.

  • 3:03 I live there lol

  • I have to disagree with this movie. I don't think American teenagers can have "just a few sips" or "just one beer." Perhaps lowering the drinking age might work long term, but it would at first fail miserably. I think teenager who want to lower the drinking age just don't have enough self control to wait until they're 21. Besides, people are more likely to become alcoholics the earlier they start drinking. Things are illegal for a reason; obey the law!

  • First of all, I think we should lower the drinking age about one year every five years. So there isn't the backlash you were talking about. Second, you said "Things are illegal for a reason" Dude, the reason the age is the way it is is all due to propoganda. The gov doesnt give a fuck about our body.

  • if the gov't did then the drinking age would actually be at 25 because that's when we stop growing and our brains stop developing.

  • Well so you think an 18 yr old is still some kind of teenager? Last time I checked 18-20 yr olds are young adults. This law was a huge political move, and MADD are proibitionist and have agendas. IF they had it there way alcohol would be banned in the United States.

  • what the fuck. american teenagers shouldnt have to just have "a fews sips" american teenagers dont just go to iraq to fire "a few" bullets. we dont vote only on "a few" occasions. we dont move out of the house only for "a few" years. we are adults, as adults we should have the same rights as all adults. things are illegal for wrong reasons too, why is it in europre the drinking age in any country doesnt rise above 18? if i go to europe im suddenly responsible enough to drink? this is bullshit.

  • some are more responsible than others its a god given right to enjoy beer. the police have bigger problems to handle than underage drinking you cant stop it so just let it continue. drugs in teens are a bigger problem than alchohol is cocaine and weed are bigger than beer and other bevrages.

  • For someone who is under 21, it is easier to find drugs than it is to buy a beer. What does that tell you?

  • more teens prefer durgs than alchohol. beer is not that hard to get if you know where to look.

  • Nothing is that hard to get if you know where to look. Drinking age of 21 only leads to more irresponsible drinking. Europe & Quebec (Canada) have lower drinking ages & the youth act much more responsibly because they learn how to drink from a younger age. Alcohol wise, an American beer is the equivalent of piss water. An 18 year old is old enough to get the death penalty for his actions, but isn't old enough to drink watered down beer? These BS laws are the products of a hypocritical society.

  • out of all the laws this is the only one that burns me. police have better things to do than look for teens drinking beer or wiskey. and there would not be half of the drinking problems there are if they did what you discribed.

  • you wont be the one drinking so let those who want to do so.

  • Actually, a lot of cops don't have better things to do, which is why they go around being collection agencies for the police state and ruining young people's lives. You should always be suspicious of governments and politicians who have nothing better to do than legislate human behavior. These characters just want to control society to suit their own warped agendas. Public safety and health is the last thing on they are interested in - it's just a hypocritical front to promote their scams.

  • raising the age to 21 did not solve anything. more teens want it now more than ever beacause they could have had it at 18. i think that they raised it out of greed they wanted more alchohol for themselvs.

  • hes right on all fronts, i can go kill or be killed in iraq but i cant touch a beer thats too much responsibility for an adult.

  • Whether the drinking age is lowered to 18 or not, people under the age of 21 are still going to drink. Don't they fucking know how easy it is for someone underage to obtain an alcoholic beverage? Easier than you think. They should just lower it to 18.

  • Re: 2:50 - The 1984 change in the drinking age resulted from a massive lobbying campaign by the paranoid schoolmarms at Mothers Against Driving Drunk (MADD), who effectively turned the majority (85%!) of American citizens between the age of 18-21 into criminals for doing nothing more than having a beer. This was the same kind of a puritannical "moral crusade" that brought us first the temperance movement and then the Prohibition some 80 years ago.

  • Nobody "turned" anyone into CRIMINALS!

They CHOSE to break the law!

  • @tatomuck18 Just like no one got "turned" into a criminal when the Prohibition was enacted in 1920. As the Prohibition proved, the stupidest laws are those which everyone flaunts.

  • although, those were some good points you made, but the thing is that 18 year olds are too immature when it comes to drinking. More seem to binge drink instead of just having a couple of beers. I think its good that you support the 'lower drinking age' but i think 18-19 year olds should push themselves abit more to be responsible drinkers, as the drinking culture in New Zealand(legal age: 18) is pretty bad( lots of violence, bottles lying around in the streets, stupid behaviour.)

  • "18 year olds are too immature when it comes to drinking"

    That's a youth prejudice.

  • excuse me. A majority of 18 year olds drink irresponsibly. And its not a youth prejudice as i am 18 as well, but im quite a responsible drinker. I know my limits, but most just dont, or refuse to.

  • Assuming that someone will be irresponsible because of their birth date is prejudice and violates the presumption of innocence.

An argument's validity is the same regardless of who uses it. There were women who supported sexism and colonists who supported British rule. You, being an ageist youth, are no different.

  • you are completely right. at 18 you are just stepping into the real world. Why would you want to screw that up by drinking, which messes up your judgement. And why is drinking more important than getting an education. No one should be aruging over alcohol. it's not important AT ALL!!!

  • If Im going to be treated as an adult in court, allowed to fight and die in the military, I damn well demand my right to drink a beer.

  • irish 18 and drinkin haha america no reallymore power 2 ya

  • I oppose the 21 drinking age, mostly because of the reasons in this video.

I like this video. You should join the National Youth Rights Association. Their goal is to lower or eliminate age restrictions.

  • dude I lived in brazil for 4 months and was 18 at the time and there laws for drinking was at 18 years old. It was better to have it that way. You get to socialize with everyone and have a great time. Also, the clubs and bars make more money which means more taxes and it will help the government even more!!

  • Go canada! Thier drinking age is 18 all you need to dom if you live in a norther state is jump the border (cause we know how well it's monitered *cough* bull *cought) Canada is where I live so i have been a casual drinker for 2 years, a good study is compare underage drinking in Canada to America and see the results

  • It's 18 in Manitoba, Quebec, and I think Alberta. It's 19 everywhere else in canada. But it's still reasonable.

  • yo nice video...good facts/statistics too.... do you think you can give me some of the sources that you used to get the facts and stats? it would help me alot thanks!

  • If a 21 year can't handle his shit how the hell do you think an 18 year old would.

  • The US is probably the only country in the world where the legal drinking age is higher than the military age. I just turned 18, I have to register for the draft but I can't drink alcohol. I don't understand how people like me are old enough to manage just about every weapon there is, kill enemies of our country, and perform dangerous operations while under heavy fire, but not old enough to drink a beer or two!

  • why does America have such a big problem with alcoholism and alcohol related deaths when other countries don't have nearly the trouble and other countries have a lower drinking age? To me it seems that America could do more educating youth about drinking instead of banning it. This seems to be working everywhere else. Why is it not even considered in America?

  • Well actually the alcohol related death in New Zealand( mainly 18-19 year old drunk driving deaths/accidents) has increased alot since the drinking age was lowered to 18.

  • and btw, as bad as statistics are now, I can guarantee that making it legal for 18 year olds would not reduce the "forbidden fruit effect" as you so cleverly put it. That would just give them the excuse.

  • but if it was lowered to 18 then we would save so much money and man hours by clearin th court out

  • That makes no sense

  • You've made way too many assumptions and you're using the same fucking arguments everyone else does.

Just stop whining and live with 21.

  • No.

  • Not being able to have a "sip" of alcohol at 18 is only because no 18 year old is going to have just a "sip". I'm 22 and I know at 18 i didn't have a sip...nor did any of the other friends i had at the time.

  • i think this commentary might be copied from another site....but i still agree!

  • nice video man

very informative will help with my english paper lol

  • perfect man, i agree completely with everything you said. Maybe if the age is lowered or even abolished, then alcohol won't be considered a priveledge... and it won't be as cool to drink then. Raise the driving age to 18 also ...

  • I Def. love the topic. As my professor says, go deeper with this. Make a full fledged documentary about the drinking age being too high. Get some good interviews with under and over age people, bar/liquour store owners, local police/courts, and go as high as you can go. This topic def. has potential!

  • A couple of production notes: I like what you did with all the bottles and the moving of the camera. Try to vary your shots a bit more so you don't have any repeats. As a student in Documentary Production this semester, I'm learning the ins and outs of documentary film making...it's quite interesting. The only thing I would have changed about your production is the music. Opening music is ok..but then you move to pop music. Try a dynamic classical score in a minor key

  • I'm 21..and I agree with lowering the age because now I'm on the other side. My university is kicking me out of the dorms and I"m being forced to live off campus. Why? All because my underage friend got sick because he had too much of the beer I bought for him lol

  • The drinking age is bullshit. I think that it may be ok for 18 yrolds to have some restrictions on alcohol, but to have alcohol totally banned from an adult (18) is a breach on the U.S. being a free country. Well guess what, this isn't a free country, otherwise 18+ would be able to drink beer... Fucking government just does whatever they want.

  • That was a great presentation man. I strongly believe that the age should be lowered to 18. It'll be crazy over the next couple of years, but after a while, teens won't binge as much as they are now since they'll acquire tolerance at a young age & learn how getting drunk all the time's not right for you.

  • i agree with you and i think the age limit is fucking over high school age kids with scholorships and shit. i dont thin kit will get changed they make too much money off mips and shit. mips supply our towns police with there salary.

  • rigth on brother.lets make the goverment to lower the drinking age.

  • 18 is way to old for a drinking age, were i used to live it was 16 but i was able to by alcohol from the age of 11 and it was all good, there were no rebelius drinkers, only social drinkers.

Children simply need to be better educated on the risks and potential dangers. Also, parents need to be more responsible and actually talk to their kids about responsible drinking.
