Yeah, its normal for them to forget, Particularly in this one because they looked tired, as if this may have been their last flight f the day. I fly very often, and have seen them having to look off a paper for the flight number, or asking another F/A or captain if the door is open.

Actually nowadays the neutral term Flight Attendant is used for both female and male cabin crew members! Stewardesses and Stewards is very old school... I certainly wouldn't mind if someone would call me a steward, however I too prefer being called a Flight Attendant... but it's no big deal...
