You can't do this move effectively unless you have a decent vert. You're supposed to protect the ball with your body and leave your arms in until the last second where you take the ball to the glass to prevent a block and force a goal tending.

You use the rim and your shoulder to guard against a bigger player blocking it by out jumping you and coming over the top.

thats a terrible video. for one if you leave the ball unporteced like that you are getting it sent back. and two you don't have enough ball control for the shot. leave the ball close to your body and still get the contact
