I don't think North Korea fired the torpedo. They retrieved the torpedo parts via a fishing boat dragging a net but there were military ships using sophisticated sonar and what not to try to detect it, but couldn't. Secondly, new evidence has shown that North K uses steel alloy torpedo and not Aluminum torpedos. North korea may have done many bad things but i dont think they have the balls to sink a military ship. Furthermore, the U.S has known to plot crap and make-up stuff like the Bay of Pigs
