Haven't seen any videos showing 52 to be effective. So far all i've seen is a lot of talk and a lot of hand waving. I knew a fat kid in school used the same technique against bullies. It worked but he was still a pussy.

Worldworks, You should speak FarisDaniel and ask him where did he get his information from for his history DVDs on 52. Like for starters, there's a wrestling aspect to the art, bought to the America by the Ashanti, Igbo, and Geeche people, a blade aspect bought by the Geeche and Gulla people....so, there's more to it than this Burly character. Putting 2 and 2 together does not gives you 4 all the time. Sometime it gives you 0. Look, from what I know, Joe Frazier learned 52 but of course 52 was not its name, neither was Stato. It only became Stato and 52 through the prison boxing programs and was reintroduced to the streets. That fancy hand stuff people do, (1) they are not doing it properly, (2) they have other applications, (3) never was done in prison until recent times.

If you want to spar, fight or whatever... then bring it to him. I'm just new into this stuff. I have no clue what is effective. Well...if break dancing comes from kung fu, provide your proof. And if you are correct, then that would also mean capoeria and the many other African/African American/Carribean ma are kung fu derivatives as well. But, I was under the impression that Chinese Kung Fu arrived in China at the hands of a Indian Buddhist monk who, more thatn likely, was a student of one of the silat styles in India. Now, you would be more that correct IF you'd had said modern AA ma (etc.) has been influenced by KF.
