they honestly don't waste ANY movement at all. XD it's a lot more on point and sharp than SNSD's- probably because SNSD is known for their cute and beautiful image, they have to soften and make the dances cute somehow.

tho i bet this is exactly how their choreographer danced this routine. xD

Didn't your group notice that the centre girl is supposed to dance differently to the others on some occasions (e.g. from 0:21 to 0:26)? Check the original MV. Otherwise, synchronisation was good.

they did it too well. I firmly believe they're better than SNSD. but the thing that they lacked here is the "softness" of their dance steps. SNSD are really really feminine movers. as to Defdance, they're on the hip-hop side, they pop and lock.

i watched them simultaneously (Defdance and SNSD) that's why i've noticed this.

Its definitely way too good. The whole appeal of SNSD, and all of their impersonators, is the campy lameness of the choreography. These girls made it appear to be a competently choreographed, viable dance routine....and somehow that is just plain wrong. But you cant really go wrong with any presentation of the greatest song in the history of musicality. good job.

Awesome! Def school dancers will really make great SM TOWN backup dancers. =D I don't think people should compare them to SNSD because they are not artistes who need to be concerned with their appeal while dancing, these people are simply doing what they are best at - dancing. =)

They are really coordinated... I agree with some who say there are almost robotic.. but they are still really good. Its prob because we can't see their facial expressions so it comes off a bit.. cold. but i'd love to be able to dance like that!

No surprise from Def Dance. Technically, its a perfect execution.

Though, it could be considered too perfect. Whilst dancing accuracy is important, I think its also nice to see a degree of freedom in movements, so its not like an army routine.

And certainly, though its not a real comparison factor because I presume this video was merely exhibiting the dance routine, but Soshi definitely has a big edge in terms of expressions and the small quirkly additional movements they add to the dance.
