  • I had a same dream of that song 3 times when I was younger.

    1. At home home in bed

    2. When my Dad drives me to Chichester

    3. When my Dad drives me passed the Meridian TV Studios in Southampton

I used to watch this cartoon once and haven't seen this for years and years.

  • Interesting, and I adore Liza Minelli, but Dorothy's facial animation just sucks. It's like she's a doll.

  • or it could be show you've hit the light or something

  • that light***

  • There is no way you can be distraught, if you'll only keep a happy thought. Think of sunshine shining up ahead. Think of every happy ending that you've ever been. And you will do what you have to do. The future is up to you. If you've got the jolly point of view. Smile! And show you've felt that! It's kind of simple once you really have been taught, 'to keep a happy thought'".

  • Whenever the issue's in doubt, the optimist in me comes out. Whenever the future will not point the way to me. I gulp the slightest gulp. And I say to me. I tell me "Don't be preoccupied with things on the gloomy side. Your troubles are mostly magnified. All your foolish fears will come to naught, if you'll only keep a happy thought. The point is don't be a worry bird, to worry is so absurd, cause nothing is bad as what you've heard.

  • Do you think you could upload this whole movie, please.

  • and she talks like her mother

  • PLEASE PLEASE can you put up the song that starts "there's a sad little feeling you feel, OOOOOO!!!" if you search the internet, there is no trace of the lyrics to be found anywhere! mystery!

  • questa è la migliore!!!! :D

  • could you post all the songs? Like, the ending song when they're returning to the Emerald City after killing Mombi?

  • omg I LOVED this movie when I was a little kid. I had this thing for the Wizard of Oz, so this was awesome for me. I especially loved this song.

  • i saw this in the 80s but now i have one question , which one is based on the real story ¨journey back to oz¨ or the 1986 movie ¨return to oz¨, they both have the pumkinhead but not the horse neither tic toc so whose screenplay is the accurest? thanks for posting this ,lots of memories.

  • None of them is accurate. "Return to Oz" is based mainly on the third Oz book (but also on the second one). "Journey Back to Oz" is just inspired by the second book, because there are too many differences. For example, the main character of the second book is Ozma of Oz (not Dorothy, who comes back just in the third book and does not appear in the second). "Return to Oz" is more faithful to the books in the tone, feelings and atmosphere, "Journey Back to Oz" instead is based on the 1939 film.

  • @Franz90smile Actually, I've found the tone of the books lies somewhere in between the two Oz movies (the MGM movie and Disney's Return to Oz). They're neither as cheery as the MGM musical or as dark as Return to Oz. In fact, I've found Baum's greatest talent as a fantasist is his knack for taking things that would be scary or disturbing in most cases and make them strangely whimsical.
