Thank God for this post.MSI laid me and 190 people off in 2009 and I was at the Portland homeless fair a week ago. It was fantastic and learned about many new resources that I did not have and got to eat a meal twice while there. Many people cared about me and my situation and learned alot while there about the system and saw many people from the call center industry that have lost their jobs when many of them have closed due to most to all going out of business.
showing the homeless in a light most are not accustomed is an eyeopener that is long past due. information provided about available services directly to those that need it is as important as the services themselves. (if the homeless don't know about available help, the help can't be utilized).
