Sasha is a great skater when she skates clean which wasn't too often. One of the best skaters I can't give her that, but she was really good.

Sasha did skate a clean program once while she was with Robin Wagner. I believe it was 2003 Worlds or 2003 Nationals

There have been many great female skaters over the years but for me Sasha is cream of the crop, tip of the top of all time.

@HowsaBowsaYowsa Are you serious?! Sasha Cohen?! Even better than Oksana Baiul, Nancy Kerrigan, Lu Chen, Yuka Sato, Tara Lipinski, Sarah Hughes, Michelle Kwan, Mao Asada or Yu-Na Kim?!! What major skating title has Sasha won that you would give her such an accolade?! 2006 Olympic Silver Medalist? She CHOKED in that free skate. The Gold Medal was hers for the taking and she couldn't skate clean! In fact, she's NEVER skated a clean program at any of the major competitions,worlds or Olympics

@kmw30pianist doesn't matter. who says you need titles to prove how great you are?? sasha's skating is as beautiful as it comes. kim yuna wins the award for most overscored skater EVER. yeah, kim popped out the jumps, but nobody has choreo and presentation like sasha cohen

@96horseluvr beautiful skating yes. but to be considered one of the greats, you have to bring all that beauty and talent into 2 back-to-back performances when it matters the most. i've always been a supporter of sasha's skating, but my support wanes when a skater of her calibre that has all the goods can't skate two clean programs back-to-back when she's in a position as a medal contender or even champion at a major event(i.e.Grand Prix final, worlds, Olympics).

@wluu1. yes, but who were the other 5 skaters that she beat? and out of curiosity, which year was that? i suspect that when sasha did win, her competition was weak.

@kmw30pianist LOL OMG. Thank you for saying what I've been saying for years. Sasha Cohen is a great skater, but I wouldn't say she is the best. I so agree with you saying she hasn't won any major competition so how can anyone give her that title. Her skating is beautiful when she skates it clean which wasn't too often, and she did choke at the Olympics. Sorry I wouldn't put her with some of the skaters you mention except maybe Tara who didn't skate long on the Senior level.
