I too have the CD from the Teaching Company and agree with you- Sapolsky really has the gift. As a student in Nursing, who happens not to have a great aptitude for the sciences, I benefit greatly from watching and reviewing the "Neurological Origins of Individuality.."

Sapolski is a great teacher. I have his class on CD from the teaching company on neurophysiology, he is very entertaining, and good to see he's an atheist! Sure some religious people are happier, but i'd prefer to know how the natural world works and not delude myself with superstitious notions.

V.S. Ramachandran worked on a documentary who engaged in a conversation with patients who had Temporal Lobe Epilepsy which lead to religiosity, an interesting connection. A paper was written where it's speculated that Muhammad too might have had epilepsy. Thank you for the post!
