he died recently in a base jumping accident. he skiied off a cliff and when he tried to release his skis one of them didn't come off. the air pressure dragging on the ski because of the high speed he was falling at caused him to go into a spin and he was unable to deploy his chute. he hit the ground and died on impact. sorry to break the news.

Dude, im a skier too but seriously you can't put down snowboarding just because you don't like the culture associated with it.
