  • Wow. Those look and sound fantastic.

  • how many cars do you have there and how much do they cost

  • @TheRyeman99 I honestly do not remember how many I was hooked into for this video. But the cars range anywhere from $30.00 to $40+ a piece depending on what you buy and those are not retail prices. Retail is always book price which is higher. I never buy retail unless I absolutely have to. Try Ebay (but watch shipping fees) and also check the web for wholesale train dealers. You can get some great prices out there on the web. That is where I do all of my shopping. I hope this helps!

  • what did you use for the pave ment anfd for the skys

    \

  • @TheRyeman99 I used 5mm cork for all of the pavement and panted it flat black using acrylic craft paint and then for the sky I used a blue flat wall paint color I picked out at Lowes and then used flat white spray paint for the clouds. I hope this helps : )

  • i hope some day my train lay out is as detailed as yours is

  • @TheRyeman99 Many thanks for watching my video for the all too kind words about my layout! Just the fact that you said what you did tells me that your layout will be fantastic! Have a GREAT day!

  • My boy put that comment on this morning, he almost missed his bus! Hes having fun with this.

  • @mch257 That is really good to know (not that he almost missed the bus..lol) but that he is having fun! That is what this wonderful hobby of ours is all about! He does a great job running those trains! I am real glad we all crossed paths. Oh, he is an excellent commentator too! Take care!

  • Nice name for the town. Nice train

  • @mch257 Thank you very much! The buildings are called MTH Railtown buildings so I figured what the heck I am going to name my town that...lol! Thanks for watching!

  • @bravosixx Yes!!! That engine is spectacular! Since you're not too worried about scale, I think it'd be cool to see a premier-railking lashup. Just a thought. Oh, one more thing, The best imperial set is the Amtrak F59PHI Surfliner. (I think Doc has it)

  • @p42Amtrak83 Many thanks man! I appreciate the nice comment!

  • Thrilled to see you came back to O scale! I miss the Conrail Dash 8-40C. That was always one of my favorites! I agree with you, O scale is my favorite too! Great video, and I see your layout is coming along very nicely!

  • @p42Amtrak83 Thank you very much! I missed O scale and it feels great to be back : ) I still have the Conrail Dash 8-40C. I kept three of my Premier engines and mostly all of my Premier rolling stock. I appreciate the kind words!

  • Sorry I made an error in my last comment so I removed it. My question was can you run engines back to back with DCS? Thanks!

  • @bradstrains No problem Bradley and yes, you can run them back to back. I have done it plenty of times. In a triple lash I would do forward, backwards, forward but you can do it however you want. With DCS the parameters of these trains really opens up to a new world! Thanks for watching bud!

  • So glad to see those O scale trains running again. Please check out my progress. My railroad is named "The Hamlet and Jefferson NC Railroad." Merry Christmas and may God bless you.
