just by using the words china and taiwan is pratically promoting independence from a very political perspective because both sides are actually china. mainland is proc which is people's republic of china and taiwan is roc which is republic of china. before proc entered un, mainland was referred to as red china and taiwan was referred to as roc. after its return to un, proc was accepted as the official representative of china and roc was eventually referred to as taiwan.

只就竞选，从政治传播角度说话。
首先，政策上的无优势。小恩小惠看似功德无量，可人们需要的是什么呢？宣传导向性上，要么太大，要么太小。高者看着低，低着看着高。受众的选择不准确会导致投票人因为心里上的欠缺一点儿点儿舒适感，而最终改做了分母，而非当分子去投票。选择了基数最为庞大的群体而未细分受众，这是最大败笔。
其次，轻重缓急次序换乱。就竞选而言，眼前需要的是支持而非树敌。未得权而先获敌，兵家大忌。信口开河，仅仅换取的是一人的爽快。
再次，假想敌政策分析偏离。美国，中国大陆，以及日本等国家，政策已经早早变化了。现在世界已经不是2年前了。
另外，媒体的应用很是不得当，媒体公关技巧顿拙。可怜了那些穿着工作人员不停忙碌的竞选组员工。
当然最后的核心还是多数人，而非民心民意。所以胜负的关键不在于民进党的优秀，而是民众对马政府的不满意程度。
最后，作为一个和很多台湾同学是好朋友的大陆人，事不关己的却不想高高挂起的原因是觉得未来的政策最后祸害的是民众。这世界远非黑和白那么简单，而灰色也不再是贬义词。所以，博弈更是需要资本的。而单从这角度说，马政府的政策让台湾一直在走，而蔡政府未必。

不和平难道民进党绿毛龟还有种武力不成，真是可笑。台湾省民众和政治家往往就显得缺乏地缘政治常识。现在台湾问题在中美双边关系中重要性已经逐渐在下降。首先就是大陆正在增长的军力，使得美国在该地区的军事优势正在丧失，以往借台湾问题来讹诈中国战略资源的硬实力在下降；此外，中国在经济上又有反制美国的手段，美国再利用台独这颗棋子会得不偿失。
其实清醒的都明白美国的台湾政策就是不统不独或者隐独但不给国际承认。所谓民进党的施政纲领在大国博弈下就是个屁，永远实现不了！

看完我真的不知道蔡英文在講什麼，除了起頭講得還不錯之外，
面對記者直接的問題，她都是全部逃避，沒有一個回答在正題上。
甚至到我覺得她根本不知道自己在說什麼。
當記者問到中國軍事擴張的時候，她的說法是在求饒嗎？
記者最後一個問題，是想了解她們黨內面對中國的作法，
她把問題轉到完全不相干的民主上？
網路上給她一個稱號叫空心蔡，還真不是誇大。
要迂迴有迂迴的說法，像她這樣迂迴又沒有內容，
甚至到達非所問，真的可以帶領一個國家嗎？

@av8d0315 是你沒仔細去推敲他講的話吧～軍事擴張，蔡：這是影響整個國際，不單是台灣，尤其亞洲周遭國家，所以是大家要一起談的（拉國際各國下海，因為中國軍事強大，不是只針對台灣，是針對全世界，所以叫全世界共同注意這問題）。中國專政問題，蔡：台灣經過二十年才有今日民主，我們會堅定台灣民主（不會受中國影響），希望中國可以轉為民主化（解決國際上大家所不接受的專制和沒人權）。換句話說，是希望中國可以學台灣走向民主（蔣介石專制到今天的民主，中國可以學）。 怎麼會迂迴呢？反而是有深度的講法～ 我到覺得蔡要是回說，台灣應該跟美國買軍火建立毀滅性武器來防衛自己XXOO，或者說中國不該怎樣怎樣，這才是島國小民的思想，一點格局都沒有，整天只放眼中國的人才會講的話，如今天的總統～

Please ask Ms. Tsai's team to wear Republic of China's national flag T-shirt. As she is running for the President of the Republic of China. Doesn't matter that many people do not like the flag. The matter of fact is the country is still "Republic of China" not "Taiwan". She is running for President in the system. It will be strategically beneficial to Ms. Tsai's team if she has her team wearing that T-shirt. We have to endure it.

While the international communities have long recognized People of Republic of China as the one &the only one representative of China, what's the point to confuse others Taiwan as "another China"? Notably KMT is nothing but merely a failed party losing the civil war 6 decades ago. Chinese had chosen the Communism party as their new leader ruling the continental. People in Taiwan were never neither asked nor given the chance to select whether to be Taiwanese or Chinese.

思考：很多人都说台湾南部挺绿是因为农民多，愚昧，其实我根本就不认同这个观点，台湾最有智慧的我认为就是台湾的企业阶级与农民阶级，挺绿是现实的需要，因为绿是独立，蓝是和平解决两岸问题，台湾贫富分化太大，农民阶级淳朴，要想立刻改变的生存状态，累积财富只能投绿，而且坚决不能让绿放弃台独立场，等绿宣布台独，中共武力攻台，那么台湾农民一夜之间就成为了最大受益者，原因在于：武力攻台后，台湾社会制度在短期内会立马改革，台湾社会当然存在不稳定因素，中共肯定要依靠人数众多的农民维持和平，这也是中共建政工农当先的原因，依靠农民就要给农民实惠，统一台湾就要让台湾农民统一后得到的实惠多，那么大陆雄厚的资金链马上进台，外汇储备第一，兄弟省份的支援，台湾的发展在资金这一块我想每个人都懂--不可能缺，掌握土地者的台湾农民其土地价值不可估量，再者不需要在说什么中共会让台湾土地收归国有，说实话中共没那么蠢，统一后依靠的只能是台湾农民与工人阶级，不会炸自己的腿，所以每个人都知道台湾农民是最有智慧的，只是放在心里，大家都懂的。

@dlin662 我剛聽了,不會覺得她是台式英文啊...有人是不是誤會了英國腔本身的音本來就比美國腔來的不捲舌,所以誤以為小英的英文比那隻驅長爛?拜託...天天被複雜艱深的英文圍繞著,還得時常向教授報告專題,英文不好怎麼可能畢的了業?

Therefore, I will vote for President Ma. and I can assure you that he will win the election next year. End of the day money talks, and lots of Taiwanese business are making bank in China.

Because of China lots of folks can provide their family better living...Here in San Francisco and Los Angeles Chinese tourist are buying million dollar houses with cash.. and lots of green party TAIWANESE are pissed, I don't get it? And they keep adjusting me when I said I am Chinese instead of Taiwanese which is stupid. White people don't really care, and they respect Chinese people more because of their buying power so end of the day money talks. Thank you!

Instead, we just want a real international recognition to make everyone know that we are different from chinese people! What you only care about is just the benefit.... so it's a tragedy anyway.

At every turn in the interview the interviewer was trying to twist discourse towards confrontation with China.
The intro also falsely suggested that it was the DDP and thus a Taiwanese asserting their rights had deliberately provoked China. A great leading inro by a supposed professional news organisation.

ROC was both China and Taiwan, so if anyone could claim any sovereignty, it should be Taiwan claiming China!

@hhcalice the first question by the man was the reason why DPP change their attitude but she only suggested PRC to look in a fresh perspective instead of insist independence. So I disagree... we voted for her as the candidate rather than Su because he is not determined in DPP's position. Now the leader dare to follow KMT's policy? SHAME!

I didn't like the BBC anchor's implication that Beijing's conscious decision to be "infuriated" was the DPP's fault nor did I like the reporter's question blaming the DPP for being "confrontational" and trying to get an admission that "seeking independence" (that's the status quo—Taiwan isn't part of the PRC) is "counterproductive."

@patty2Chen 因為她聽不懂記者問的是什麼。她的英文跟馬英九比其實沒有那麼好，台音很重，加上又自己在那邊搞英國音，台音加英國音的，而且全程記者都皺著眉頭的，真的她的音很難聽的下去，要嘛就全部台音，要嘛就英國音弄好一點，所以簡單來講她答非所問是因為她聽不懂英文。她的第1句 whatever in the past is in the past，魯蛋音很重 (含魯蛋的聲音)，總之跟馬英九比，她的英文講的很難聽，而且她本身也聽不懂英文，而且她講的英文也很難聽的懂
