what happened to them? seen them like 3 times, really loved their music, same with reveille...dont makes sense why these bands didnt take off the way they should've...pretty sad!
DWR was most commonly related to Linkin Park due to the nature of having two vocalists. DWR had a more drastic contrast because the singer wasn't also the screaming vocals; the rapper was. It made the highs of Jabe really create a wall for Grimm's vocals to bounce off of.
My favorite songs are the ones that sum up exactly what I'm feeling. Regardless of time, whether it's what I feel in this very moment, or the familiar sting of an unforgettable past, songs like this are invaluable to me. Sometimes we all need a reminder that we're not the only ones who have been hurt, humiliated or forgotten. This song embodies that. Thank you DWR.
I was at a ROH show in Coral Springs, FL about 2 or 3 years ago and saw Grimm, still alive and kicking, and maybe a year ago I saw him again and the Improv in Hollywood, such a great guy
I miss them so much!!! I partied with them from high school in Miami through college... I remember the first time that they sold out a show in Gainesville... I can't believe their first album is on Amazon for 50 or 100 bucks!! Box and Mario Andretti were classics. I miss Jabe's hotness and Grimm's antics.... those were the days.
I seen a lot of similaraties between this band and Limp Bizkit. Linkin Park was and is way too commercial. DWR was more obscure and that added to their aura. Their lyrics were awesome too. Limp Bizkit just sold more albums. Fuck those other L sell-out bands.
I first saw this band about a decade ago with Reville and Nonpoint. Used to listen to Orphan a lot back in the day. Stumbled across the CD a couple weeks ago and it's getting regular play again. Brings back memories of better times, and I think they captured the nu metal sound of that era pretty well. Too bad they weren't bigger, I think they had a pretty good sound for that time.
I saw these guys at ozzfest on 2nd stage in wooster, Mass in 2001. I bought their CD that same night and I still Jam to it to this day. I was supprised how many people in Ohio didn't know of the DWR when i moved here. Sad that they aren't playing anymore.
my old band actually got to open for them, Nonpoint, Crossbreed and Switched at a lil bar in Gainesville, FL. what I wouldnt give for these guys to get back together again
i consider these guys the hardcore version of linkin park. this band was real and im kinda glad that not that many people know about them, it just makes them more special to us fans.
saw them in '02 man they put an amazing show.. what happened to groups like this one. its the fucking mainstreams pussys like green day that made it hard for bands like this to succeed in rock culture today
@tranceraver69 totally. ya know, I can understand why people who aren't big time into punk may like Green Day, but Guttermouth is too much. but the way that what people hear/are used to is manipulated so blatantly. I live by Chicago, and when Disturbed was still local, I saw them& Loudmouth together. Now Disturbed is BIG, and Lodmouth has made little impact, though ther're AT LEAST as good. why?
@tranceraver69 it almost always ends up about looks, or whether they're are easily manipulated over money, or some other shallow aspect. Same old consumer/capital, social-conflict B.S. Uh-oh! I think I just espoused pinko-commie rhetoric! Save me, for I've been turned into an Oba-Maniac!!! JEEBUS, SAVE ME!!!!

Eddie "The Kydd" Rendini looks like both Wes Borland & Chester Bennington, and at one side view shot Alex Cando looked like Fred Durst.

I was obsessed with this song when it was on normal rotation with Nonpoint.
The album sucked, I bought it for a dollar at some Cali record store.
But this is a knockout, at first I thought it was incubus lol

When the guy sang the long notes, it reminded me of incubus. Then I was looking at the comments after and I laughed.
