  • why does taking pictures of bubbles look so gay

  • Can't believe you lean over your camera to blow the bubbles, surely water drips can drip on your camera !!!

  • Can shots like this be taken with a nikon L120.

  • @LearnMyShot What settings do I use.

  • How to you set the focus of the camera for the bubble shot?

  • What if I use white back ground??

  • U remind me of Fraiser crane from Fraiser.

  • @MiniMe2193 lol,

  • sir can we do it in sun light???

and please add a tutorial on smoke photography :)

    reply asap :)

  • Thanks for the idea, I may try this out.

Perhaps you would benefit from using a remote release cord, it would prevent any camera shake and at the very least it would allow you to stand to one side and not splash the camera.

    Cheers

  • Excellent

  • Robert, In this example how did you focus the lens, and what focal length did you use?

  • @jsmcqueen it was very difficult to focus. I focused on an object first and then set the camera to manual focus. sorry for the late response.

  • You make it look so easy, That is what we called Teaching skills.. SO easy to learn, understand and follow.. Thank you Rob, Your talent is really great. I am glad i found your videos on youtube.. I just can't wait to try them now.

  • fantastic videos.... excellent for the layman, and semi-experienced.....thanks for the great videos!

  • I love your videos and the clear way you explain things. With ISO 400, aren't you getting a lot of 'noise' though? I always try and clean up noise in PSE 9, but am afraid my image is going to turn into something falt and plastic looking once all the 'noise' is removed. Do you have any advice how to take care of this problem? Thanks for your valuable input.

  • @learnedit , i don't get much noice at 400. but the best way to get writ of noise is to shoot in Raw. and use lightroom or adobe raw to get writ of noise, also there is program called "neat image", but lightroom does the best job

  • @LearnMyShot Thanks

  • Great video very inspiring. In the video you change the shutter speed to 125th and say it does not alter the exposure,am I mising something as I thought you had to open up the aperture to make it the same as the prvious shot.I know you altered it to freeze the bubble.

Not finding fault I am just a bit confused.

    Gary

  • @plastereruk you are absolutely right, it does alter exposure by 1/3 of a stop. but it didn't really have a negative effect. that's what i meant. thanks for your feedback. if you try this tutorial you can post your shot on our site

  • Good video Robert! Nice idea.
