great to hear uli play this live.

I remember i was in amsterdam in 1985 and heard the rumour he was in town.

Went to 'the Paradiso" and saw him on that night's bill. He took half the sound with his guitar, i was excellerated. His solo's gave goosebumps from beginning to end.

There's always a certain 'yearning/suffering' in his solo's.. and i love it!

Yeah, Uli is underrated as a singer. He's like the German Jimi Hendrix

Roth is better from a complex, or skill plus knowledge of the instrument, standpoint than Hendrix ever was. Uli rivals guys such as Jeff Loomis, Rusty Cooley, Joe Stump, Michael Romeo, Jason Becker, Yngwie Malmsteen, etc. Other than the fact that Hendrix was not just a blues/psychadelic rock musician, but that he was also a producer of his own studio, Hendrix was nothing but hype.
