im like 160, and really cut up, and urijah is smaller than me, but still has way more muscle and even more cut up, that dude is a beast, hes been one of my favorite fighters for ever, and i'm so happy to see him getting recognition, i even wrote a letter like 5 years ago when i was 18 to ufc to get lighter weight classes so urijah could fight with them lol, and hey it happened, im sure not because of my letter, but hey it still happened!
we do explosive weight lifting and conditioning.body building is all slow movement excercises and it tightens up our joints and makes us immobile.we like to focus more on mma training because it actually gives you a much more satisfying "pump" and developes our fighting skills.
The majority of the fighters do train with heavy weights but it is not the same type of lifting as body building. If anything it is more like training for powerlifting then body building and then as they get closer to fight times it goes to less weight more reps, cardio and getting the weight down
