Itachi still worked for the leaf village while he was in akatsuki and was actuly spying on akatsuki and giving intel to the leaf village. He was never truly on the akatsuki's side, from birth he was always protecting the leaf no matter the cost, he said that he couldn't handle Jiraiya as an excuse so that he didn't take the leaf's BIGGEST weapon from them that would greatly aid akatsuki.

Experience wont play a roll when jiraya need the prep time to get into sage mode, and itachi can activate his MS techniques instantly even before jiraya can make handseals for summons.

He bought time to get into sage mode and like i said jiraiya knows Itachi's abilities well so falling for his genjutsu is out the question. Yes, Itachi has other techniques but im sure DUE to Jiraiyas knowledge he can overcome them. Remember hes analyzed itachi's Black Flames in their frist encounter... and the greatest thing Jiraiya has under his belt is the Tutelege of the Third Hokage who was considered the God Of Shinobi.

In Shippuden Kisame said Orochimaru left Akatsuki 10 years ago.Orochimaru left right after Itachi came.When Itachi joined Akatsuki he was 13,when he killed his clan. But if he joined 10 years before Shippuden that would mean he joined when he was 11. In the beginning of the video he looks 11. When they show him when he first joined at 0:20 he looks exactly how he did when he was 13,and he has his ANBU clothes-Itachi didn't become an ANBU until he was 13,so I think there's a mistake.

Sasuke got Susanoo after the fight w/ Itachi, and shortly after, he developed it even more than Itachi did. Also, I think you're exaggerating a bit regarding their fight, though I agree w/ most of your statements. By no means do I like Sasuke, he is one of my most hated Naruto characters of all time.

@Javimonotheism IDK if your far enough in the manga yet or not, so this might be spoilers, be aware.
Itachi still worked for the leaf village while he was in akatsuki and was actuly spying on akatsuki and giving intel to the leaf village. He was never truly on the akatsuki's side, from birth he was always protecting the leaf no matter the cost, he said that he couldn't handle Jiraiya as an excuse so that he didn't take the leaf's BIGGEST weapon from them that would greatly aid akatsuki.

Jiraiya has without a doubt more experience and higher understanding of genjutsu. Granted Itachi is very powerful and has an extensive amount of techniques, just like jiraiya but... Experience would play a vital role in a fight between these two. Thats why I have to hand it to Jiraiya

Experience wont play a roll when jiraya need the prep time to get into sage mode, and itachi can activate his MS techniques instantly even before jiraya can make handseals for summons.

He bought time to get into sage mode and like i said jiraiya knows Itachi's abilities well so falling for his genjutsu is out the question. Yes, Itachi has other techniques but im sure DUE to Jiraiyas knowledge he can overcome them. Remember hes analyzed itachi's Black Flames in their frist encounter... and the greatest thing Jiraiya has under his belt is the Tutelege of the Third Hokage who was considered the God Of Shinobi.

@Javimonotheism the sad thing is about itachis black flames is that he won't be able to seal them in combat.
itachi can activate Amaterasu instantly before jiraya could form hand seals, if itachi was to use amerterasu on .jiraya it would be game over.
1. jiraya is not fast enough to dodge it.
2. jiraya can not get out his scroll, peform handseals and seal it while his skin is burning if jiraya gets his scroll out to seal the flames itachi will just burn that too.

@SlowCh33t4h Dude have you ever read the manga??? There are ways to dodge the amaterasu, which is not the fastest technique. (Flying thunder god technique IS the fastest) Considering that Jiraiya has taught Minato... the fastest ninja of all time... an HE himselft has been taught by the Third Hokage( A very strong Hokage that has been called the god of shinobi) Im sure Jiraiya can avoid the black flames of Itachi. Jiraiya hasnt been around for no reason you know, he has an arsenal of techniques.

minato could dodge Amaterasu yes, but jiraya can't he hasn't shown the speed.
oro was tought by the god of shinobi aswell and itachi was able to 1 panel him twice once with out the mangekyou sharingan.

(That means reflexes are only in part) Speed plays a role but there are ways to aviod the black flames, and I really dont care about Oro because he was arrogant and underestimated Itachi. You just cant do that against Itachi

So my hypthesis is based on the level of experince one has over ther other. Im not just being bias here and Itachi is a stong guy. In the cases of Nagato thats a different story because theres several things you can assess to come into a conclusion.

In Shippuden Kisame said Orochimaru left Akatsuki 10 years ago.Orochimaru left right after Itachi came.When Itachi joined Akatsuki he was 13,when he killed his clan. But if he joined 10 years before Shippuden that would mean he joined when he was 11. In the beginning of the video he looks 11. When they show him when he first joined at 0:20 he looks exactly how he did when he was 13,and he has his ANBU clothes-Itachi didn't become an ANBU until he was 13,so I think there's a mistake.

@GeneralErlend judging by what? At the age sasuke was just barely getting into the academy Itachi was already LEADER of the ambu black ops, a higher level then jonin.
Itachi was dieing of a disease, nearly completely blind and still had to go easy on sasuke in order for sasuke to defeat him. Even with all that and and Itachi purposely trying to lose, it still appeared he would win when he pulled out susanoo at the end of their fight. Even when trying to lose he still had a hard time doing it.

Sasuke got Susanoo after the fight w/ Itachi, and shortly after, he developed it even more than Itachi did. Also, I think you're exaggerating a bit regarding their fight, though I agree w/ most of your statements. By no means do I like Sasuke, he is one of my most hated Naruto characters of all time.

Well I tachi is definetly better than Sasuke. Itachi is a natural genius, and so is his strengh, unlike sasuke who is full of drug or else. He has to use itachi eyes to achieve the power level to attack kyubi in equal ground. @shimuka2 Jiraiya would owne this guy he is a legendary Sonnin and outfought both itachi and Kisame at the same time back in classic naruto plus he has Sage mode that he never used till the end. @duckmastterflex Well I am not so sure about that. Itachi didn't actually try to kill Jiraiya. He just went away.Today we know that Itachi didn't really want to capture kyubi. They even work together with bee. Even though he's dead. I don't remember the chapter but Madara was cautious around Itachi, that's why he never attacked Konoha before. If Itachi had usa Susanoo, Jiraiya would be dead. Plus don't forget that Itachi was sick back then. No Itachi is the most powerful.

I didn't think so, we're all "real" fans. We don't have to like every frikin character, it's our right to choose who we like or dislike.

@animegal876 Bahhh it's okay. I get like that too sometimes. I was in a little bit of a cranky mood when I wrote my comments too, so it's alright. I get a little mad when people hate on Sasuke, and on videos that are meant for Sasuke fans -_- It depresses me.

He was actually 11. Kisame mentioned during the sealing of the 7 tails that it had been 10 years since Orochimaru left Akatsuki. Itachi was 21-10= 11 year old kid beat Orochimaru.

Why did Kisame say that it had been 10 years since Orochimaru left Akatsuki then? Orochimaru only left when Itachi joined Akatsuki. 10 years before Shippuden, Itachi was 11 years old. Itachi didn't massacre the clan until he was 13.
