Autologous stem cell transplantation is a procedure by which blood-forming stem cells are removed, and later injected back into the patient. All stem cells are taken from the patient themselves and cultured for later injection. If you want to argue about whether it's right or not, why not do it on one of the debate videos? This is purely for learning purposes, keep that in mind.

the stem cells inside will need nutrition right? :/ i can hardly believe that cells can differentiate without any sources of energy, but would this adding affect the stem cells "purity" of some kind?

with purity i mean the level of which the stem cells are not affected by other factores, and thus just as useful for other puposes. for school project.

Okey dokey. The first word of the term human embryo is an adjective that refers to a living individual as human at this, its earliest stage of development. From the zygote, a one-celled organism formed within 24h of conception, there is a continuum of development characterized by cell multiplication and maturation that does not cease until this individual's adulthood or death. This living individual is no less human at any stage. Embryo, fetus, child, adult...all stages of one humans development

@XxSiogDannixX Actually after 2006, a viral method showed a tremendous amount of success, but this method is still being developed on, since the virus that implants the gene into the adult cell (to make it into a stem cell) is related to the HIV virus.

@360xi dude, if you really think a sperm is gross, then you REALLY need to take a hard look at life and realize that we are all organic lifeforms, and just because we have means to cover that up with clothes, houses computers and stuff thats uniform, we still have to realize that we are organic, all different, and its because of sperm.

on the flipside, I believe its still wrong to destroy a fertilized egg, because its still a human, just an EXTREMELY young one... but its still and individual
