With a blower and race fuel more like 6's or 7's. The fastest f-body to run a stock Ls1 alluminum block runs in the 6's. A v8 just makes more sense. An Ls1/t56 weighs about the same as a stock Miata engine/trans and can pust out 400 whp with bolt ons

Civics pretty much always lose to V8s. They are slow, I've dusted a k20 bolt-on civic making 260whp in my Cayenne Turbo. It wasn't even close, the further we went the bigger the distance. Civic's are slow. I know the guy whos sons civic I raced, it was 800whp, weighted 2100lbs. it was a K20a, I think he said 30psi. I smoked him from a roll in my stock Murcielago. As soon as Heffner comes out with the TT kit I'll be making 1000awhp on 4psi.

Com on man really? I love Hondas (look at my name) but muscle will always be faster. An sbc powered vega or nova with a stock 70's roller block will see 8's on motor. With a blower and race fuel more like 6's or 7's. The fastest f-body to run a stock Ls1 alluminum block runs in the 6's. A v8 just makes more sense. An Ls1/t56 weighs about the same as a stock Miata engine/trans and can pust out 400 whp with bolt ons

Ok, if you don't believe me do some research. Call up Doug Levin motorsports. They have regular Murcielagos @ 6psi that make 1000awhp. I'm talking a Lp640 that already has an ECU re-flash it makes 680hp. Either way the Gallardo from Underground Racing is only on 10psi and that's a 5.0 V10 and it makes 1000whp. I'm just telling you.

Civics pretty much always lose to V8s. They are slow, I've dusted a k20 bolt-on civic making 260whp in my Cayenne Turbo. It wasn't even close, the further we went the bigger the distance. Civic's are slow. I know the guy whos sons civic I raced, it was 800whp, weighted 2100lbs. it was a K20a, I think he said 30psi. I smoked him from a roll in my stock Murcielago. As soon as Heffner comes out with the TT kit I'll be making 1000awhp on 4psi.

Yeah I've done roll races from 100mph. These cars are good if you wanna go slow. Not meaning 1/4 mile. Just not fast top speed. Plus they are too cheap, I would be embarassed to drive in one of these. I wouldn't consider a V8 a bullshit car. After all the worlds fastest car is a 9.0 TT V8.
