I know there is a different way, but i just downloaded a theme and once it said download complete i pressed the xbox guide button and it went to the download and i pressed change theme. Im sure theres themes somewhere though.

just got it about a half an hour ago, it is great, the avatars, arent that big of a deal. The new experience is so much faster, appealing, and newer feeling. The coolest thing about the new update is that you can have a party chat with friends. oh and you can also download your games to your hardrive, incase they ever get broken. THANK YOU MICROSOFT =}

People who are connected to an internet connection (everyone...silver and gold) will be able to get the update for the new dashboard on November 19th 2008.

Their will be an update and then your console will restart with the new dashboard.

No, you need X-Box Live Gold (paid) membership to play games with others. The Silver account allows you to send messages to others and recieve any updates, I believe.
