  • Haters gonna hate.

I personally think this is awesome, I own 2 suggs and often let mine climb to high locations and jump off at their discretion, but I have given mine a boost, too. They do absolutely love it and they are always climbing in my hands for more. I agree with OP that this is by no means something for everyone, but if you train your gliders they are well aware of what they are getting themselves in to.

  • @babs102187 i know what your saying he shouldnt of threw it up because i have one to and wouldnt do that.. but in the wild they glide up to 150 feet

  • I don't care what you or other people say, but this is fucking abusive! Yes, they are build to soar great lengths, but they are not build to be thrown into the sky by some idiot for entertainment purposes! Sugar gliders soar from tree to tree with an exact pinpoint direction.......I really hate people like you and wish you very good 'flying' luck, when you get pushed down a riff...purely for entertainment!

  • I wished u got thrown up.

  • fuck u

  • SICK FUCK.

  • It is not natural.... You throw the gliders up and that is the g-force sugar glider never get exposed to in nature.

  • You are a damn idiot. Someone should catapult you into the air and laugh while you are falling.

  • Hm, I have two sugar gliders and I don't think either one of them would like being flung that high into the air and falling (gliding) back down. Maybe yours does? I don't know though.. That was quite disturbing to watch. Didn't make it all the way through.

  • that is abusing the suger glider throwing them up like that

  • tierquäler ...

  • wixer

  • Why do ppl comment on videos to start arguments? N none of you knows what that sugar bear is thinking... so u all need to shut up...

  • why do people think it's messed up? its perfectly natural, you can even see its landing down majestically so enjoy the vid

  • Wow. This is ridiculous. Gliding from tree to tree is different then being tossed vertically into the air like a baseball. Train him to glide from a location to you - not throw him up in the air.

  • Look Buddy....want me to sew a tarp on your arms and throw you that high and watch you "GLIDE" down? NO. I thought so. So don't do it to your suggie. ANIMAL ABUSER ANIMAL ABUSER ANIMAL ABUSER YOU ARE AN ANIMAL ABUSER.

  • your a complete freakin' idiot. you're gonna kill him.

  • this is the same guy that takes his "pet" paragliding...

dude.. it's not a pokemon, grow the f*** up

  • Poor little guy /:

  • I'm sorry but in the wild, they are not thrown into the air. People like you should not have animals.

  • Your an idiot. I hope someone throws you in the air and u fall on ur ugly face And die.

  • ปัญญาอ่อน ไอควาย กูจะจับมึงโยนมั่ง ควย

  • Wow, you should have your ass kicked for shit like that you dumbass! Are you really that stupid and actually think they fly? They're called a sugar GLIDER for a reason! Your poor glider is going to get hurt really bad one day when you're doing stupid shit like this. Or run away, but the poor little couldn't be lucky enough to run away. And that's real nice that you're letting him run around on the ground where there are loads of people and dogs. People like you make me sick...

  • the thumbs has spoken uploader, thats just cruel.

  • Well, first time I've seen that one! Wouldn't try it with mine though. She has an incomplete membrane on one side, due to a birth defect. Your little fellow seems to enjoy the sensation of the glide. He just keeps coming back for more! @ babs- Their bones are actually very resilient, if the glider is being fed a proper diet.

  • @MamaWolffe777 I know this. But this is just irresponsible. Sorry you can't see that.

  • Training your glider to glide to you from the curtain rail or the top of their cage is one thing (and can actually help bonding, when they learn they you are the walking treat dispenser). Flinging him in the air like that is abuse!! He opens his patagium out of instinct to keep from getting hurt. Not because he enjoys it.

  • Comment removed

  • you retard. He does not love it, it is natural for them to fly by choice but it is never natural to throw an animal into the air. you should be banned from owning animals

  • You people are fucking retarded. The sugar glider OBVIOUSLY isn't getting hurt, and if he felt like he did, he would run away. They don't give their trust easily. Everyone who thinks this is animal abuse should ram their head into a wall until they enter a coma. They're more useful that way.

  • This video is considered animal abuse.....better hope no one sees this and reports your ass. You shouldnt own a sugar glider....oh wait you have two. Your pathetic. The idiot holding the camera is saying its natural....i dont see a slingshot in the wild throwing these beautiful creatures in the air. I own two gliders and what your doing to them is wrong! Im going to get ahold of the wildlife and report this video myself!

  • They glide from tree to tree, not by their owner flinging in the air for amusement. If you want him to enjoy his natural gliding ability, let him glide from a tree to you. If you were a caring owner, you'd be more worried about what would happen from a hard fall, then entertaining strangers at a park so you can be the center of attention.

  • I agree with others who have commented. I do not believe for a second your glider loves this and it's giving a very bad impression to new and potential owners. It's not natural to be flung in the air and plummeting to the ground, unless you're a bouncy ball. Why you even got sugar gliders I'll never know.

  • thats messed up!

  • Comes right back to you?! Where the hell else is he going to go? Watch how he runs to someone else after a few times. He is terrified! This is not normal for them. They are sugargliders. Not sugarflyers or bombers. You're an idiot!

  • @juansugarbunny He has flown over 30 times in one day and has never shown any signs of disliking it. He has never gotten hurt and is to the point where his landings are very soft. Sugar gliders naturally glide hundreds of feet in the wild. Yes it is not normal for your everyday household sugar glider but we started small and worked up to this point. He will run to the nearest person or object but he knows very well who I am and will climb up into my hands and prepare for the next flight.

  • @freebirdgliding but why does he run to the nearest person or thing ?You've been lucky so far I guess. I hope the little man never gets hurt.

  • @freebirdgliding They don't NATURALLY glide HUNDREDS of feet. They typically glide from tree to tree ABOUT 50 feet.

I bet you have him without a cagemate, in a small cage, on a pellet diet too.

  • @babs102187 straight out of wikipedia "When legs are stretched out this membrane allows them to glide distances 50–150 meters", 50 Meters = 164.04 feet. He is training to fly from tree to tree and has done so up to 50 feet so far. He is in a very large cage with a cagemate and eats a healthy fresh fruit and protein diet. They even have multiple sleeping options in their cage and are very healthy.

  • @freebirdgliding your reported for animal abuse. I dont care, get the hell off youtube with your abuse!

  • I can't believe I just witnessed such animals cruelty. Do you realize how fragile their bones are? And the internal damage you're most likely causing him? This is NOT natural. You're a horrible person. I hope for that gliders' sake it dies so it doesn't have to put up with your abuse anymore.

  • This is animal abuse. What the hell is wrong with you?!

    Poor thing.

I own 2 and this is the cruelest thing I have ever seen.

    You are an f'n idiot.

  • @onecrazyhenson He really enjoys flying. It has taken us months to get him to fly to this point and I highly recommend that no one try this without proper training.

  • notice how he comes right back to me and gets right back into proper position to do it again.

  • You're an absolute piece of shit and should be dropped to the ground from a plane to see if you can fly.

  • @suppressedtearz It is called wingsuit flying and I plan on it :)
