  • They have pretty much the same in Disneyland Paris and it goes a bit faster :)

  • This ride looks fun. The tractors move in sort of a figure 8 motion, but your trailer whips to the left and right as you change direction. As for the songs Mater sings: they're all made up. They're probably Cars-based songs like "Bust My Fenders" or "Crane Mater" (and I guess that song is in the tune of the Cars 2 spy theme).

  • Lets see what happens when we honk our horns.

  • Reminds me of a whip!

  • I know california is in america I meant orlando x

  • Wow....this looks...um...fun for five year olds.

  • MAKETHISINAMERICADISNEY !!!! We need cool rides in Walt Disney world !!

  • @kerriluvsWATERLOORD This is in America... California Adventure.

  • It's a hard ride? It look very amamizng but very spinny!

  • For how much money they spent on this attraction it looks really lame. The wheels don't even touch the ground or spin. The theme is of a junkyard; hardly what Disney should be trying to mimic in a struggling theme park with quality issues. Carsland was a mistake for zillions of reasons.

  • @equilibrium1736 Have you not seen the rest of Carsland. The area is one of these most beautiful environments on Disney property in the US. This ride, I admit, looks kind of dull, but there's so much more to look forward to. This isn't another Littler Mermaid

  • @Rollerman87 Oh I'm not discounting how nice the rock work looks but that's not what California Adventure needs right now. They need attractions that are going to define the next generation like Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, and Space Mountain did. The very idea that DCA can't even compete with 40+ year old attractions is disappointing. I'm hoping for Disney's sake that RSR is good enough because at this point it looks like Test Track 2.0 with a short sighted theme.

  • @equilibrium1736 TEST TRACK 3.0

Test Track 2.0 is in Disney Sea. It's called Journey to the Center of the Earth.

  • @Smallpoxproductions Technically, Journey to the Center of the Earth is using the same tech as Test Track. Since this version uses 2 separate slots on the same track, allowing cars to switch sides, I deemed it appropriate to use 2.0.

  • Gonna be quite a fun ride! Can't wait for the whole land to open!

  • I don't think they will open it going that slow. Just thinking about make me laugh picturing everyone going so slow.

  • does anyone not get the idea of "TESTING" god. of course its gonna be faster. they just built it. they dont want to just turn it on full speed and it just breaking

  • Look, Mater opened a tractor dance studio! xD LOL

  • Looks awesome. But i was like waiting for it to speed up

  • I think it is slow for TESTING PURPOSES! Have you ever been on one of those rides called The Whip at an amusement park? It will at least be just take fast when spinning. Then you have to add the fact that they are spinning really close to each other and are always switching tracks. Just think about it this ride will be amazing when it is finished! (I hope)

  • Does nobody get the word "TEST"? They are making sure it works without a hitch and those cones won't BE there once testing is completed. It'll go faster, I'm sure. If you had just built something I'm sure if you were smart you'd start it off slow to make sure nothing will break and then would gradually make it go to full speed, no? And of COURSE this won't be an extreme ride; it's for CHILDREN. Sheesh, lighten up! ^_^;;

  • Why don't the wheels turn on the tractors? That looks awful!

  • @walcer Yor're right, Disney should at least but a little motor in each car to make the wheels spin, even if they don't touch the ground.

  • I follow this stuff pretty closely, but is it just me or does this look like a total waste of space? Jumpin' Jellyfish part. deux basically...actually its even less fun looking than Jumpin' Jellyfish cuz you at least slowly go a few feet off the ground on that one, varying your experience in some way. This is seriously about equal or less to the stroller ride from the front gate to the actual ride, for the little ones. Why bother?

  • This is Disney's answer to Potter? Piff.

  • @secondaryactons No, this was being planned for years before Potter. Disney's actually answer to Potter is the new Avatar Land in Walt Disney World.

  • ...this looks terrible. C'mon.

  • Is there a wheelchair accessible car or truck?

  • OMG IM GETTING DIZZY JUST LOOKING AT THIS RIDE...

  • Does anyone else think this is gonna open before the rest of the land as a preview? If its basically almost already done...we could see this opening in as little as a month!

  • Everyone is complaining that the ride is to slow...IT IS ONE OF THE FIRST TESTS! Do you really think they would just whip it around at full speed waiting for something to brake?

  • The ride's just no good with those plastic numbers next to them... BAD SHOW!

  • @erniehead they could just be for testing purposes....the ride isnt fully ready for guests yet

  • So it's a Cars-themed Mad Hatter Teacups ride. This new expansion is just full of re-themed rides. No originality. Disappointing.

  • @TheRyanLamont Actually not really. The mad hatter teacups have teacups around three spinning platforms and they go in circles while the big thing goes in circles. This ride has the cars switching from platform to platform in order to whip the car around

  • @GJdude8612 You're in a ride vehicle that spins you around. It's the same basic principle.

  • @TheRyanLamont " You're in a ride vehicle that spins you around." I can't tell you the number of rides there are that do this and the incredible amount of variety between them. You're missing the point.

  • This looks mechanically similar to the Mad Hatter Teacups ride. It's circles traveling in a circle. Guests will probably have control over how fast they get whipped around.

Now I've read some comments from people complaining about Carsland being too much like...Cars. Trust me. When that land opens, even if you've never seen the movies, your jaw will drop and you'll be in awe of the place. I already am from what I've seen. And it's still under construction.

  • you know how everyone loves the Dumbo ride?... well this is like that x5.6! Dumbo is simple circles, this is much more than that. YES it will be sped up once all testing is complete, and it will be sooo much fun! trust me, i have a REALY good source! ;)

  • Speed it up? I think people want to be whipped out of the tractors. Its not a thrill ride people.

  • so what the gunna do in 10 years when cars isn't that popular ?

  • This looks like one sweet ride. In a "for kids and not too thrilling but still a lot of fun" way.

  • Kinda works like the teacups :o

  • Anything to do with Pixar's "Cars" makes me sick. Just stop already- both those movies were embarrassments.

  • looks fun, but it better be faster....I don't even think that kids would want it that slow

  • Wait this is actually going to be really fun!

  • I can't wait to wait in line for an hour for this!

  • Evidence cones... Hmm wht cld this mean?!?

  • @BubbleCatFTW CSI Cars edition XD

  • oh my gosh this is soooo cute

  • This looks great. My little cousins, and me as well, are going to love this!

  • FASTER FASTER FASTER.....!!!!!!!!!

  • That looks fun!

  • Looks like fun. But I hope they speed it up a little bit...

  • @ThatDisneyKid Don't worry, they will. All testing starts out slow and progressively speeds up to the normal speed

  • LOL

  • Cool, I can't wait to go on it!

  • COOL CAN"T WAIT TO GO!
