  • good song without the lyrics

  • beautiful

  • Comment removed

  • Man oh man, don't you hate how all YouTubes related to anything Jewish have Israeli-Palestinean flame wars in their comments? I just love this song by Fran Avni.

  • so beautiful.

    :D <3

  • @DirtyLuvah That's disgusting.

  • Every Easter you know what movie they play? the Ten Commandments which won all these awards and you know why it won? Because it is an Old Tesament story and the Jews follow the Old Testament and dismiss the New. I for one am an atheist and call things as they are so I am not blinded by faith. Fact is Jesus was not born on the 25th of December.

  • @RunDCM Oh, come ON! How stupid can someone be? They play the "Ten Commandments" around PASSOVER (which, wow, also is around Easter). And for Jews there IS no "old" and "new" testament; there is only the Bible — the Five Books of Moses, the Prophets, and the Writings. And no, Jesus was almost certainly not born in December; so what? (Atheism is irrelevant; the bigotry is very very obvious.)

  • @GarisMom Yeah 10 COmmandmenrts during Easter has nothing to do with Jesus dying and resurecting does it? Why don't the networks play the Passion? It never won awards but it made 400 million that year and created quite a buzz. The Jews labeled it anti semitism even before it came out. But then again the Jews love playing the victim.

  • Fran Avni has a gorgeous voice!! חג חנוקה סמח. (Happy Chanukah)!

  • Happy Hanukkah everyone

  • Please visit YishiBen channel and learn how to help replant trees! Thank you Shalom! A nice comment besides "burn, Jew" would be appreciated too. : )

  • Beautiful. Bialik is one of my favorite Hebrew poets.

Further, Hanukkah has nothing whatsovever to do with Christmas. It is a minor holiday upon which we celebrate our unique identity as Jews. That was threatened by Antiochus IV, and won back by the Hasmoneans 150 years before anyone even thought of inventing Christianity. Sure, it gets press in America, but it is not "the Jewish Christmas."

  • Wow, this song is so beautiful!! Nice recording. Nice slideshow, too. Chag Chanukah Same'ach and Shavua Tov. Shalom.

  • Jag Sameaj Janucá desde México

  • Very nice indeed and I hope that Channukah can be kept as a very special festival without all the commercialisation of the Christian festival

  • Great video!!! also check out my Oh Hanukkah and Have a Happy Hanukkah!!!

  • Chanukah is the made up holiday to make the Jews in America feel better with the overwhelming sense of Christmas. In the meantime Jesus wasn't even born on the 25th of December and all the stuff the Christians use to celebrate are Pagan rituals like wreaths and trees. They had to have 8 days because the Christians drag out Christmas and shove it in everyones face for over a month. Jews are happy because they make money with their businesses on Christmas and they shop after Christmas.

  • @RunDCM This is ignorant nonsense. Hanukah was celebrated 150 before Jesus was born! At roughly the time of Jesus' birth Hillel and Shammai, heads of the two leading schools of Jewish thought at the time, were debating the correct way to light the hanukiah: do you start with the newest light and work back to the first (Hillel, and they we have done it for 2000 years now), or start from the first andn work to the newest (Shammai, who never gets his way)?

  • @GarisMom it was not a big holiday and never commercialized until the Jews made it that way because of Christmas.

  • @RunDCM That Hanukah, a relatively minor holiday in the Jewish calendar gets so much press here (not to mention the emphasis on presents) is because of the proximity to Christmas, but the eight days has nothing whatsoever to do with Christmas; it's intrinsic to the holiday and was part of the holiday for two centuries before Christmas existed at all.

  • @GarisMom yeah I understand the 8 days meaning but they blow it up to be "christmahanakwanzika" when they are all different and Christmas is considered the biggest of all three yet the media which is owned by Jews puts it on the same pedistal.

  • @RunDCM That Hanukah has become commercialized and inflated, when (as I noted), it's an extremely minor holiday is just the reality of American life. But the ignorant and bigoted crack about the media being owned by the Jews is straight out of hate literature.

Spewing that kind of nonsense contributes to nothing but spreading hate. If you don't like it, don't listen. No one is forced to log on here.

  • @GarisMom it is not out of hate literature it is truth. From Time Warner (gerald Levin), Disney (michael Eisner), Fox (Peter Chernin), Dreamworks (David Geffen), Columbia Pictures (amy pascal), Sony BMG Music Entertainment (andrew Lack) Paramount (Brandon tartikoff), I could name more but I think you get the picture. When you are 1.9% of the US yet you own most of the media outlets it gets people thinking. Isreal gets 3 bill a year from the US and the next clostes country gets 900 mill.

  • @RunDCM And there, for anyone who may have missed it, you have the classic response of the bigot. No point in even trying to go over the errors point by point; the bigot has already made up his mind.

I repeat: Spewing that kind of nonsense contributes to nothing but spreading hate. If you don't like it, don't listen. No one is forced to log on here. There are pleny of websites which cater to bigots.

  • @GarisMom I repeat what I state are facts. Look them up (you obviously dismiss it as hate even though it is true). Look up how many jews live in the US percentage wise. How many jews are top executives in Hollywood (forget about the banks that is another story). Most jews in the US are in NJ and NY City percentage wise.

  • @RunDCM Again, the standard claim of the bigot. Pick a group, note that they're "over-represented" in [crime, ownership, professions, whatever], and claim that "proves" that said group is more prone to crime, or controls the media, or the banks… It's the same garbage spouted by bigots throughout the ages. Bigotry remains bigotry.

  • @GarisMom Yet I was right statistically and the truth does indeed hurt. Nothing bigoted about it just facts. Jews do control many of the media outlets and banks as well. No hate just facts. Keep your bigotry goggles on and try not to see the truth.

  • @RunDCM Boo Hoo! We were just raised to do well. Quit crying and try to emulate how we became successful. Don't look for conspiracy theories, look at how we teach our children to read and study. Look at what is most important to us (faith, family, education, etc.), I believe you will find out why, despite our small numbers, we are so successful. Try thinking about how we are the only B.C.E. tribal people that, no matter where we are, consider ourselves one big family. Give up the hate.

  • @carolinkc faith, family and education ar eimportant to you I am sure but MONEY is above all. I studied and have a job, but I was not raised to be greedy. Greed is one of the 7 deadly sins and it is a reason why the world is a mess. Sorry but the jews do in fact control many media outlets. They show the holocaust on tv all the time but never show the holocaust of the Armenians. Why? because the Armenians do not own the media outlets. You're successful due to money and being at the top.

  • @RunDCM Typical bigot, even to the point of specifically not capitalizing the word "Jew." Why is such a bigot even posting here? What does such a bigot contribute other than promoting hate? What's the POINT? Nothing but hate. How pathetic.

  • @GarisMom Look in the mirror for once instead of echoing the same word over and over. Look at my facts andn yes they are facts. We give Isreal 3 billion a year. Isreal has spied on the US and committed terror against the US (look up Susana Affair or Lavon Affair around 1954-56) and our country shows nothing but support for Isreal. Sorry about the dose of reality I gave you and backed it up with facts which you dimissed as "bigot". Sad but true.

  • @RunDCM And the hate continues. Again, why does such a bigot even listen to Bialik's songs? Why bother to post the same garbage about Jews that's been spouted by every hate group for centuries except to foment hate?

There are plenty of sites which cater to hate groups. Why come here? For what purpose? Oh, right: to spew hate.

  • @GarisMom for centuries? Explain the USS Liberty, the Susanna Affair, the spying on the US and the fact that we give them 3 billion dollars and the next closest is Egypt with 900 million. Explain why we have to give Isreal war planes just to talk about peace. I guess it's just hate speech then not based on facts. Let's ignore facts and just live in ignorance shall we. Why do schools have to call it Winter Break or Spring break when we know they fall on Christian holidays.

  • @RunDCM The problem with the bigot is that the bigot's "facts" don't lead to the bigot's conclusions — in this case the claim that Jews have such great influence and somehow "control" things. One can pick any group and come up with some negative "facts": this group has a higher rate of alcoholics; this has more child abuse; that one is noted for criminal activity. It's meaningless. Again, the only purpose of this bigot is hate. So much for the good will of the season.

  • @GarisMom You want more how about when Mel Gibson wanted to make the Passion. Remember when Mel was loved by Hollywood? Then he decided to make the Passion and not one movie studio wanted to make the movie. They make Leprechaun in da hood but no Passion. So Mel takes his own money and puts 40 or so million to make this movie that Hollywood claimed "nobody wanted to see this with subtitles and all". Guess what in the US it made 400 million and the "media" crucified Mel as being antisemite.

  • @GarisMom When they had nothing on Mel "the media" claimed his father was an anti-semite and Mel was all of a sudden a "catholic" actor. Now Mel made himself look stupid with his baby momma drama but back then they had no right to tell him no. So the bigot facts led to the conclusion that I pointed out which you'll ignore and dismiss as "hate".

  • @RunDCM Oh, come ON. Gibson's father is a known Holocaust denier. Gibson himself USED to be this oh-so-conservative forget-Vatican II Catholic… until he dumped his family for some other chick, and then got in trouble for abusing her. And his anti-Semitism is pretty blatant, when he gets stopped for driving drunk and starts ranting about Jews at the trooper who pulled him over.

What I just don't get is why a bigot works so hard to deny his bigotry. Especially when it's as blatant as it is.

  • @GarisMom He doesn't deny the holocaust he denies the exageration of the 6 million killed. Many people do because the Jews have been throwing the 6 million part even before it happened. They fell in love with that number. As for me I couldn't care less but nobody ever talks about the Armenian holocaust which killed millions as well. I guess if the Armenians owned the networks and Hollywood studios it would be common knowledge further proving my point that Jews own most media outlets.

  • @RunDCM Ah, how unsurprising. Another denier. DCM, you have demonstrated repeatedly that you hate Jews. You give all kinds of bogus reasons, you cite meaningless, useless, irrelevant factoids, but the bottom line is, your sole purpose, like all bigots, is promoting hate. You just lack the integrity to admit it.

  • @GarisMom I never denied I said "many people do". It is you who denies the holocaust happened. The Armenian holocaust. BTW a bogus reason for "hating jews" is valid when they attacked the USS Liberty, spied on the US on many occasions (FACT and I can show you proof but you're to oignorant to see truth), are given 3 billion a year from the US, own the movie studios, are high ups in the banks and supreme court yet are only 1.9% of the US population.

  • @RunDCM Actually, I REMEMBER the Liberty. Spy ship in a war zone, WARNED to stay away. Regrettable, but hardly a reason for the US to turn away from the only reliable friend the US has in the Middle East, the only genuine democracy.

And once again the eternal canard about Jews being in control (note that the bigot very deliberately and carefully won't even capitalize "Jew").

You started with a nonsensical post blaming Jews for the commercialization of Christmas. You continue to post HATE.

  • @RunDCM How unsurprising that you actually have on your links some stupid crap blaming JEWS for 9/11. How very unsurprising.

I'm curious: are you actually a member of a neo-Nazi or other white supremacist group? Or just an Internet bigot? Because it's quite obvious that you ARE a flaming, raging bigot.

  • @GarisMom No, that is a 9-11 video and I believe that 9-11 was a shady flase flag to create a wars in this case 2 injust wars. I do not believe Isreal had anything to d with it but they did have prior knowledge and warned the US of an attack. Dozens of countries warned the US of an oncoming attack from Al queda which obviously was not taken seriously enough to stop the destruction.

  • @RunDCM Regarding the Armenian genocide following WWI, I suspect that there are several reasons why it is not given as much attention.

    1. It's farther back in history, meaning there are fewer eyewitnesses, and also that there is less physical evidence in the form of photos and court records (there are no court records);

    2. It was not in a "western" culture; for a variety of reasons, the West seems to expect less "civilized" behavior from non-Western cultures;

  • . First the Armenians in the army were disarmed, placed into labor battalions, and then killed. Then the Armenian political and intellectual leaders were rounded up on April 24, 1915, and then killed. Finally, the remaining Armenians were called from their homes, told they would be relocated, and then marched off to concentration camps in the desert between Jerablus and Deir ez-Zor where they would starve and thirst to death in the burning sun.

  • @RunDCM 3. It lacked the incredible organization and infrastructure of the Nazi extermination program (the same applies to more recent genocidal slaughter in Biafra, Bangladesh, and Rwanda); and

    4. The Turkish government continues to deny and fight calling the Armenian genocide "genocide."

The bigotry in this poster's comments comes through so very clearly. It's not about so-called "facts" or "truth": it's about promoting bigotry and hate.

    Exactly what leads to genocide.

  • @GarisMom All my facts are true and I backed them up. You deny the Armenian holocaust and even claim I deny the Jewish holocaust when I never did and quite frankly I couldn't care less if it happened it not. It is obvious you're just a blind jew.

  • @RunDCM Excuse me? How, when, or where did I ever "deny" the genocide in Armenia? I pointed out why the Armenian genocide gets less attention, and that the TURKISH GOVERNMENT continues to deny that the massacres of Armenians (1915–1919) was "genocide." You, however, have claimed (typical denier) that the "six million" number was used PRIOR TO THE HOLOCAUST. That is a blatant lie.

You are a bigot. You are here to promote hate. Nothing more.

  • @GarisMom I promote facts and nothing more. I didn't deny the holocaust but it is possible that the number is exaggerated. However, either way no nation has the right to kill 270,000 jews or "6 million". It is you who does the name calling FACT.

  • @carolinkc Study false history is not true ethical values. The Jews are only one tribe from the House of Judah whilst the ten lost tribes are the Protestant nations including Great Britain and United States. Read a copy of Herbert W. Armstrong's book, The United States and Britain in Prophecy. It is about time you knew the truth!

  • Happy Hanoukka everybody around the world .

  • thanks so much for posting.

  • @albertdiner: Thank you so much for putting the Hebrew lyrics and translation of this gorgeous song, in 2 versions no less.

  • I'm not Jewish but I'm thinking of converting so I've started studying Hebrew :) I've got a Jewish surname so it makes sense.

  • @RockyBiscuits Whether you have Jewish decent is of no import. Being drawn to Judaism means you, perhaps, have a Jewish soul. Explore it, learn from it, convert if you feel you should. Best of luck.
