The calendar is piece of knowledge that tracks days months years and epochs. I noticed you pointed out the dinosaur, but there are also three other symbols in the calendar (which is an unfinished work). Each represents an epoch in itself, and there would be more added for every epoch.
Circular imagery is easy to find in mexika and mayan culture because energy is circular.

The calendar is piece of knowledge that tracks days months years and epochs. I noticed you pointed out the dinosaur, but there are also three other symbols in the calendar (which is an unfinished work). Each represents an epoch in itself, and there would be more added for every epoch.
Circular imagery is easy to find in mexika and mayan culture because energy is circular.
Anyway, there's more than i can fit in youtube comments. interesting video.

The calendar as I understand it is far more intricate than what you say, and it is important to remember that pyramids refer to a specific kind of architecture that relates to fire. This is no the same case with what are called pyramids in Mexico and Central America.

i think you may be reading a little bit too much into the meanings of this. the flying disks you speak of may represent the ball court 'goals' that were used for ritual games, or they could represent the sun coming up from behind the pyramid during the equinox.
i am studying mesoamerica at university and this has given me a little bit of an argument for a presentation.
