I have got a very good hint for you to keeping the nice old Engine in good shape with todays ultra dry eco fuels: Use 1:100 API TC two stroke oil / fuel mix as regular driving fuel, that keeps the old fuel-system gaskets, rubber parts, alloy parts etc... and cast iron metal surfaces of those vintage engines in excellent shape and it also lubricates the valves and upper piston regions. Most Porsche vintage owners do so Also keeps carbs and tank clean and rustfree! ..
awesome! definately a 23 (nose, indicators, bonnet (or hood as some people call it)), and if it's a T series motor it's a TA23. I have both a RA23 and TA23
@damianxinxsa If have both an RA23 and a TA23, then you should be able to tell that neither of your cars have this bonnet. The bonnet flutes and buldge are VERY different to a 23. This is NOT a 23.
This IS a long nose TA22, it has a 2T-G (you can tell by the Oil outlet between the park plugs on cyls 3 and 4), and it has the same bonnet and guards as an RA25.
I believe this is a long nose ta22 as it has the ta22 dash and then the ra25 bonnet and and front end. this means it is definetly a long nose ta22 not an ra23. it also has the 2tg engine
celicas in japan are all TA. T stands for the engine such as 2t, 2tg,2tgeu,3t. celicas in US version are all RA. as R in engines such as 18r,20r,21r. Letter A stands for celica. and number 22 is the frame chasis no. as in KE70
K is engine, E is corolla 70 is frame chasis no. or AE86. A is engine kind like 3A, 4A,4age. The toyota engines also has code like 2TGEU - 2T stands for engine 1600cc. G is for twincam E is for EFI. and U is for unleaded fuel only. hope this give you an idea!
Hey mate, your car is very good looking, do you wanna sell it? i wanna buy it bro
