@ericou812 Many thanks for the comment. If its the small square sign at ground level, these are usually place by English heritage and have basic information about the monument itself and local tourist information. Hope this helps!

this is bull crap he lived in the dark ages of britain just after the fall of the roman empire. He lived in a roman collisum and turned it into a fortress for defending against the anglo saxons. the round table is acutally the collisum
