@Musikstudio24 I dont know i dont own a JX 8P . But looking at the components build in the JX you may be able. Best thing is just to try and see what you get ! :)
yeah do put it on here as sonn as u can, i haven't time at the mo but i'm guessing it the lfo that is delayed too, to get that loop type effect, me and my mates put something on u tube titled keyboard crack have a look, u may like it, cheers again,
its 2.30 in the morning and this has made me happy guy, been trying to work all the preset values out with no success, that is now set in my alpha juno2 under the patch name dominator, don't suppose u know the preset values for prodigy's charly. well done for putting this on here, awsome!
@thesilentguymusic if u can listen to the charly patch it actually loops on itself check it out on here, thanks for the advice but the vca envelope doesn't seem to change it, thanks
@MrDrhousemd Hmm strange , i pob changed some other things to then sins this video , to get a better patch you have to have the vca on a envelope and a little attack time , that could to the trick , though i cant look at the settings now because i'm modding my juno with some stereo distortion
@snakevids Well sort of modular , i'm going to add some inputs to an microcontroler that sends for example the midi data for the filter and the value for it , for as far as i know , the best things to modulate are the PWM , VCF and VCA parameters
@Filthdrive The Alpha Juno 1, 2, and the MKS-50 all have the same sound engine. The Alpha Juno 1 has 49 keys that have no velocity or aftertouch sensitivity (although it responds to both if you use a controller that responds to them). The Alpha Juno 2 has 61 keys and adds velocity and aftertouch sensitivity. The MKS-50 is in sound module/rack form. No other differences between the 3.
@whizkid515 Hey, i have a question for you... do i need a C-64 memory cartridge to save stuff that i change on the Alpha juno 2? and what else can i save what i edit on? thanks man.
@Filthdrive As far as I know (I don't own any of the alpha junos, I just knew those things offhand), the cartridge is just an expansion of the internal storage. Without the cartridge, I'd assume that you'd save patches to the internal memory and possibly overwrite the factory presets.
@whizkid515 You are right about that part . If you don't use a external memory ( A cartridge or a taperecorder) , you have to overwrite the factory presets
The Alpha Juno "What The..." preset was the sound they used on those records, so...

@MrDrhousemd Np , if you put the Vca envelope to the rising envelope , it should sound exactly like the patch

@Filthdrive if you are using it in conjunction with a computer get yourself the pg300emulator it alows u to save patches after you have made them.

But the Alpha Juno IS the creator of the hoover sound, just like the TB303 is the creator of acid :) Happy hoovering :D
