Occifer Regina Meeks got a call right after the Bojangles 'follow-up(Please!) at 9:01 pm about a house getting egged nearby... she spent nearly 15 minutes on that call while spending less than 5 mins. @Bojangles.

2 occifers @ nearby restaurant were eating dinner for almost 30 mins from 8:20ish till 8:50ish pm... this all while 3 young boys were missing for almost 3 hours (sunset was 7:50 ish that day> 5/5/93).

@ticklemekita - Yeah that is a good question, I guess it is becuase he was the only one actually 18 at the time of the crime, and also the prosecution tried to paint a picture of him as the supposed ring leader. Even some of the supporters of the WM3 were asked by reporters at the trial if they were members of "Damien's cult."

This crime is still something of a mystery. However, the groups innocence is still in question, perhaps more than their guilt is. There was not enough evidence to convict. In spite of this you have to appreciate that Misskeley confessed twice, that Echols failed a lie detector test, that a witness saw both Echols and Baldwin covered in mud near the woods that night and that none of the boys have a solid alibi.

A confession by one kid who got all the confession details wrong and recanted. he also had 7 or 8 people backing up his alibi. vicki hutcheson said her testimony against Misskelley was completely made up. Another took back his statement that Echols admitted guilt to him.

If the 3 were to be acquitted it would be great to have the actual perpetrator brought to justice. @millo6662000 could be innocent, i don't know if they are, but there is very little proof other then a confession by one of the accused that had an IQ that made him legally retarded, he even claimed Jason Baldwin cut one of the victims throats but the cuts on the throat were made by animal predatation, not a knife, police even ignored DNA evidence that linked Terry Hobbs, one of the victims fathers, to the crime. There's more evidence pointing against them then to them.

The fact there was a man in a bathroom dripping with blood and he was not only not taken in for questioning, but that brain dead hick of a female cop did not even bother to find him - unbelievable.
