ugh i wanted to trade in my '08 Si for one of these a couple months back. too bad the dealership wanted 41k CAD for it. the salesman himself even told me it would probably just be worht it to spend the extra 6k and just get an evo x.

Dude this car with the right amount of work under the hood will put an evo x to shame. My friend has one and it has about 450hp in it. We race and evo8 and a evoX and still pulled away with a win. All u got to do is step on the gas and when they shift u keep goin thats why these new automatic cars are sometimes faster. Ive drove both the ralliart and gti mkv both with some great hp and the ralliart still handles and drives a lot better.

yeah but that's a moot point. the same amount of work done on an evo x will give you a ten second car. that's like me saying yeah, if i put the AJP turbo kit on my si, i'll toast an evo x.

there is no argument that the evo x > ralliart, especially considering the minimal price difference in canada. maybe when the ralliart's msrp drops it will start moving off the lots.

What if say... the Evo has 450HP? And what if say... the Evo has the SST Transmission? And what if say... you race the Evo around a corner? I own a Ralliart and yeah they're awesome machines but they're no Evo... not even close, besides the fact that Evos were NEVER made for drag racing.

No currently they don't equip the ralliart with a M/T, but the twin clutch holds gears for you and downshifts, it's kind of weird.

@KaKaKedas Ra wheel horsepower after the engine was broke in is at 227.6....this is a great car i got the base RA i just put HID with drl bypass and just install the eclipse avn 726e Navi...thumbs up for the ralliart!

dude thats so sick. i cant believe its auto by redlining for the next shift, sounds amazing. awd must be awesome too. ive heard good things about the SST twin clutch system. this is the wave of computerized instant shifting. you got this thing early.

Thats the difference between a normal CVT and a Twin Clutch- SST... In sport mode it redlines, in normal mode it doesn't.

Thanks, Yeah i'm not sure how it will either. I was hesitant on buying a car with a tc-sst tranny because im coming from a 5spd tsi and 3000gt but im actually suprised how responsive it is. It downshifts for you in sports mode and holds the gears just like a 5spd

It should take the mods good. Its the same trans thats in the MR i believe
