@rkfromchi close, their toyo r888s, theyre an r compound track tire. When their done I think ill switch to a MT drag radial as long it doesn't sacrifice handling
@SinisterC6 Have you ever considered going TT with your setup? I've heard that Speed Inc sells APS systems with a killer setup. Plenty of torque and a ceiling around 1200/1300hp.
Im not really interested in making it into a drag car, I want something that is well rounded in quarter mile, roll racing and handling. I raced the car at full weight, all cleaning and repair items in trunk, tires at normal pressure and motor heat soaked as I waited for my turn. This is the performance I can expect from my car every day at every light because I made no special changes for the track. I do want more power though, cant ever have enough.
This winter I got my wheels powder coated (I only spray painted them to see how I like the black on black combo. I fixed a few things that got broke over the season (wires melting, lights ect). I tinted my headlights and fogs for a meaner look and added some red stripping in the interior.Overall I'm currently saving up to build a TT427 motor and zr1 drive train. I'm looking to run 220+ at the 2013 Fall Texas mile :D
@boostmd theres a good summary in my other videos but basically: Supercharger, cam, exhaust, fuel system, meth injection, clutch done at speed and made 650 rwhp. ams retuned using the meth and made 750. I installed brakes, coil overs, radiator, harnesses, wiring, interior and visual mods.
