I was at this show. The crowd was absolutely electric. I think this was the 2nd song on the card for that night. There wasn't a soul in the crowd not singing along with the band. This video does no justice at all. Go see them live if you get a chance.

I seen the original line up in 1985, and the harmonies were way better. Not only that, but the live show was far better. I suggest you research old videos and listen for yourself before you get so offensive and defensive towards people. Shame on EVH for excluding Michael Anthony in favor of his own son. The sound suffers as a result, lacks the punch of the old days and is covered up with heavier drums and thicker guitar in the mix. They might as well play without a bass player, the result is similar. Check out the same songs with MA on bass and it is clear to anyone not in complete denial. It's easy to get nostalgic about hearing the old tunes again, but I'll save my money and continue to wait for a REAL reunion

I can only comment that while Mike did a great job for VH over the years, his bass playing is quite simple enough for almost any 2 year bass student to master, EVH's son less time no doubt. It is Mike's high harmonies vocals that could leave a gap....

Just saw VH last night in Greensboro... excellent show. Well worth the money. EVH and DLR seemed very happy to be on stage with each other again. I hope they can keep up this kind of togetherness and energy as this show crosses the U.S. Wolfie was good, and in time, will loosen up a bit on stage. He's got talent, for sure.
