  • Amazing ,u make me feel ashamed of myself . You are 39 and 5'11 , i am 16 and 6'3 and i cant dunk my vert is 21inch.I started AA3 2 weeks ago. Good job man , keep up the good work

  • props man. 40 years old!!! your the man.. good gentics fo shooo

  • @ZacKlassen thanks man!

  • Can I make jump manual without gym?

  • @fLr4fLr having access to a gym is ideal but not required. i do all the workouts at home except for the strength and explosion workout (squats, deadlifts, cleans, etc)

  • will i be able to get a 40 inch vert even after an acl surgury

  • @Dub1Trizz i definitely think it is possible! will take hard work just to get healthy but if you really want it, go make it happen! how high could you jump before the injury?

  • Hey "Myjumpmanual" I need some help. I'm planing on buying the manual today and I just want to hear someones opinion about it. I'm 6"1 perhaps 6"2 with shoes and i just cant touch rim or close to it. I just cant jump. I weight 175 pounds and I am 16 years old. With the program do you think i can easily touch rim? and in how many weeks? I work Hard. Everyday i ball.

  • @ElegantKarma how far you from touching the rim right now? the jump manual is a great program and am confident you would get very good results. definitely recommend it.

  • @myjumpmanual I'm just a few inches away from rim, but i want to dunk also. My goal is to make the school team. I'm glad to hear positive results from someone who bought it. Thank you for your time and fast response! :)

  • @ElegantKarma sure no problem man! let me know if you have any other questions. good luck!

  • Single leg take off form: approach slow to fast, last 2 steps are the fastest, and you should be upright, strong core

  • DO you make your last step the longest on the single leg jump? Yeah i know about the penultimate step and all that but ive seen some people make their last step the longest.

  • @proteincheese i think my last step is the longest. i've tried to get my 2nd last step to be the longest but haven't quite got the technique down. takes practice after years and years jumping with my current technique...

  • Im 14 and 220 pounds.. i can grab rim with two hands but with the first inch or so of my fingers. tips?

  • @ibelieveicant how tall are you? are you lean? if your body fat is higher than 10%, i would recommend getting leaner. your obviously pretty strong but losing some weight would likely help you jump higher. i'm actually doing the same thing right now...working on getting really lean.

  • Great job! I have the Jump Manual too! I'm 5'11, can't palm a ball, and my arms are average length. I can grab rim very well, but I still need a few more inches to be able to slam it down with these small hands. My biggest problem is that I find it gvery hard to rest my legs a day or two because I just want to play! Do you think resting your legs is one of the more important aspects of the program? I'm at a plateau. Thanks!

  • @SamCC32 yes - rest is really important. but, i find that hard to do as well because i love to play too!

  • I LIKE THE PLACE...WHEN YOU DUNK LIGHTNING SOUNDS COMES!!!

  • Hey I saw your videos and it inspired me to get to jump higher I thought since I couldn't jump there was no hope ..but now and I'm "6 and I have been training and I got my first dunk today..it was amazing keep doin what your doing and I wanna see that two handed jam!

  • @VNLLnumber1 awesome man! did you use the jump manual? or some other training? congrats and post some vids of your dunks!

  • Im in 7th grade and able to skin the rim with my fingers.Any tips?

  • @xTzRcLaNx touching the rim in 7th grade is really good! and so whatever you are doing is working. most 7th graders are no where near the rim unless they are very tall. 7th grade is pretty young so i would talk to your coach or parent and get some advice from them on what's best.

  • @myjumpmanual Alright.Thanks

  • im your height well a inch traller but how can i do that (i get half net since i was in cruches)

  • @woodmereman do exercises that will get you stronger and faster such as squats, sprints, jump rope, dead lifts, plyometrics, etc.

  • awesome!

  • @7Godspeed thanks man!

  • Nice hops! How tall are you

  • @tequilla411 i'm 5'11"

  • nice video! any tips on how to jump higher with the ball in your hand? i can easily get rim but when i try to dunk i can't get nearly as high and basically just let go of the ball and grab the rim hoping it goes in lol.

  • @iforg0tmyname1 thanks man! yeah, that is pretty common. one good thing to do to help with that is get a medicine ball (10 lbs is what I use) and practice jumping up at the rim as high as you can like your going to dunk. do those a couple times a week for a few weeks and i bet you will see a difference.

  • I'm in 7th grade and I can touch the top of the net is their any tips on how 2 train?

  • hey, any updates on your vertical? I injured my back from trying to squat 275lbs...I started just playing ball last week, but my back gets sore afterwards. Maybe I will get back to jump manual next week or so.

  • @airbong23 still training hard but gains have slowed down. visit my blog for the latest details (see video description for the link). injuries suck! i actually tweaked my back a bit yesterday too and probably going to take a few days off.

  • Honestly for all the 14 year olds out there, you really shouldnt worry to much about your vertical yet! Your still young and have time to grow. Trust me i know!!! i was the same way! as a freshman in high school i could just barely reach the rim and now that im a senior i am throwing down some sick dunks that i never thought i could ever do! I can grab rim with two hands off vert. im also getting my forearm on the rim too. But just wait to fit into your body! Best of luck! and Great Videos too!

  • Great vid!! What did u do to increase how high u jump? Id really apprecuate it if you helped!

  • @WestsideOG187 i have been doing the jump manual workouts which include plyometrics, squats, deadlifts, lunges, etc. i have posted quite a bit of info about the workouts on my blog (link is in the video description) if you want to check it out.

  • truly inspirational man...I am 25 (6') and on the same journey...hope I can get there with time, commitment and passion...

    respect from Italy

  • @thisandmatt87 thanks man! you can do it. just got put in the work! post progress videos. it will help you stay motivated -- at least it did for me. good luck!

  • Comment removed

  • great job !

  • @freshSnap88 thanks man!!!

  • Can someone give me that jump manual program, exercises or just videos where i can see the program?? please i want start doing it..??

  • Hey man I was just wondering if you remember what your vertical was before you used the jump manual and what is your vertical now?

  • @Wo0Tw00t21 yes...i have this in my first video if you want to watch it

standing vertical before jump manual = 22"

running vertical before jump manual = 29"

    standing vertical now = 30-31"

    running vertical now = 35-36"

My goal is to get to 40 inches on running vert

  • @myjumpmanual when you putting up ur new video of ur new dunks

  • @kowy41 as soon as i have some new dunks! :-) been training hard and should have some new stuff soon...

  • @myjumpmanual sounds awesome man why dnt u jst post an update same dunks jst throw them down harder

  • Always nice to see people making jump progress!

  • @bigtomfrost thanks man! i still have a long ways to go but having fun...

  • @myjumpmanual I will be sure to let you know!

  • @myjumpmanual Thanks for the advice

  • @77rranger no problem! improve your technique a little and i bet you are dunking easy! let me know how it goes!

  • @myjumpmanual You have a 93 inch reach?!

  • @latandafour yes - 7 feet 9 inches.

  • @myjumpmanual Isn't that exceptionally long? As far as I'm aware, the longest reach in the UFC is only 84 inches

  • @latandafour i'm not sure we're talking about the same thing? 93 inches is how high i can touch when i reach as high as i can standing flat footed. to figure out your vertical jump, you have to know your reach.

  • @myjumpmanual Ah I understand now

  • @latandafour i'm guessing you were thinking of wingspan? most people have a wingspan about the same as their height. but, several NBA players have a wing span greater than their height. for example, john wall is 6'3" but his wing span is 6'9"

  • @myjumpmanual Yeah, that sounds more like what I was thinking of.

  • Hey man I can almost dunk. I am able to grab the rim from a standing vertical and can get half my hand above the rim off of one foot like what you said in the description. I need to ask how many more inches do I need to dunk with one hand, and what exercise should I do and how often to be able to dunk. Thanks

  • @77rranger if you can grab the rim from a standing vertical, you should definitely be able to dunk off the run. you might just need to work on your jump technique as you should be able to get around 6-8 inches higher off the run (which would be plenty high to dunk) than your standing vert. watch some of the technique videos on vertfreak101 channel or search for jump technique videos on youtube. in terms of exercises, you can't go wrong with squats.

  • hey i can almost dunk but how high above the rim does your hand have to be to dunk??

  • @kph97 if you can palm the ball, just the bottom of your hand above rim. if you can't palm the ball, you probably need to get at least your wrist above rim.

  • hey man what exercise do you think gave you the most increase on one foot jumps?

  • @StevenDunks tough to say...but for me i think lunges might be best for 1 leg jump. i'm also adding step-ups and one leg squats to my workout and think both of those will really help too

  • You help to provide me with so much motivation. When I get the all clear from this knee injury I'm gonna get up some decent quality dunk clips. All under 6ft dunkers are ballers!

  • @JDexia awesome man! look forward to seeing your vids!

  • hey im about 5'10 and i can grab rim off my vert with ease but i can't dunk! i get off the ground with two feet maybe thats why i can't dunk it?

  • @TooSlick403 if you can grab rim from standing vert with ease, you definitely should be able to dunk off the run with 2 feet.

  • @TooSlick403 that's what everybodys telling me, but i guess its my foot work and i always stop before i go up for the dunk. do you know anyway i can change that

  • how close to rim were you before you started training?

  • @knomtombat i could get my fingers on the rim. watch my day 1 vertical jump test video

  • Keep doing your thing !!!

  • @GG3DTJumpManual thanks man! starting my next round of training of tomorrow!

  • @myjumpmanual You dont have to post videos on youtube. Just keep the videos on your computer. You are more insecure

  • @myjumpmanual I dont have to put videos up to prove myself because Im not insecure like you. My peers know what I can do so I honestly dont care what you think hahaha. I dont record myself playing basketball because I would rather use that time to get better at basketball and weight train. You cant even dunk two hands so stop talking haha.

  • @YouHaveNoBounce who is more insecure? someone who sets a goal to dunk a basketball at age 39 and posts videos on youtube to track his progress? or someone who hides behind a youtube name and makes dumb comments? good luck dude.

  • try raising your toes more to get more traction on your last step. It's a little trick that I notticed added almost 2 inches to my vert. great video man

  • Congrats you can barely dunk and you travel when you do so, it doesnt matter unless you dunk in games..

  • @YouHaveNoBounce funny how guys who make comments like this are the same ones who have no videos on youtube. why don't you upload some of your game dunks? i would love to see them.

  • @myjumpmanual

Yeah you would think based on youtube comments I would see tons of sub 6 foot guys doing in-game windmills and 360s everywhere I go.

  • @xiphonon so true! how's your training going? still using jump manual?

  • @videostealer101 im 5ft7 or 5ft8 and i can rim i am a sophmore in highscool and i want to dunk and a friend and me are doing a jump maual program this summer do u think this will help me and i wiegh 125

  • nice

  • @dk7864 thanks man!

  • hey man, im 15, 5'9 , and my jump is really low, i want to reach our school basketball rim,

    i need about 1 1/2 feet before i can dunk ,

and i got about 6 months to train my jump,

can u show me some tips? i really need some, thanks :)

  • @TheAqworldsTIPS i definitely recommend doing a vertical jump program. there are some really good ones out there. i personally like jump manual. to jump higher you need to get stronger and quicker so whatever you do make sure you do exercises that will help you improve in those 2 areas. i've posted tips and other suggestions on my blog so you may want to check that out as well. good luck!

  • nice man. i'm 16 and can dunk about the same as you. can u do any two hand stuff?

  • @videostealer101 still working on my 2 hand dunks! really want to get tomahawk!

  • @myjumpmanual Ok thanks for the advice, im 17 and my vertical is in the late 20s but im not sure the exact measurement. Could u tell me how u measured your vert, I dont have any tools to measure it, but I can go to the basketball courts. I can hang on the rim but I dont know how to measure the vertical. Thanks

  • @swan142 you just need to measure your reach and how high you can touch and then subtract the difference. If your reach is 8'0" and you can touch the rim, then you have a 24" inch vertical. Suggest that you test your no-step vertical, one-step vertical, and running vertical.

  • @myjumpmanual WOW man thats just crazy, I thought you were in your 20s lol. So you say the jump manual is legit? Because I saw on the website that it guarantees 10 inches in 12 weeks and at first I thought that was impossible until I saw ur videos and when I read that u said u gained 7 inches. Is it possible that if I follow the program to a t,(never miss a workout, good diet and rest) that I will increase my vertical by 10 inches?

  • @swan142 yes, the jump manual is legit and i think it's possible to gain 10 inches in 12 weeks if you closely follow the program, eat right, etc. especially if your starting vertical is in the 20's and you are not OLD like me...lol. if your starting vertical is already in the 30's then adding another 10 inches in 12 weeks would be hard (but not impossible). just my opinion. good luck man!

  • May I ask how tall you are and how much you weigh. Please also tell me how high your vertical was when you started and how high it is today. Your results are mind blowing and you have the most detailed testimonial of the program. Thank you

  • @swan142 thanks man! I'm 5'11", 172 lbs, 39 years old (for 2 more weeks!). My no-step vertical when I started was 22" and is now approx 30". My running vertical was 29" and is now approx 36"

  • Hey man Im on my 5th week of JM and I took this whole week off to recurperate. Im 5'9 and my standing vert was maybe about 2-3 inches from the rim so maybe about a 24. but I tested my one step vert and I actually grabbed the rim with my fingers for the first time I was so happy :). But at the same time its been about 5 weeks to gain 2-3 inchs so Im worried I wont get that 10 by Feb :(

  • @Maybach3233 congrats on your progress so far! keep up the hard work. if you continue to follow the program and push yourself each workout, i'm sure you will continue to get good results. good luck man!

  • Also i have never done any jumping exercises. I'm 6'1 and 3/4 hahaha, though i can touch the ring standing still, and dunk with a size 5 on a good day.

  • @masterdocker666 that is very good especially for 13 years old! sounds like you will be a beast especially if you train hard.

  • I'm 13 and still growing.. rapidly. But can i start the workouts in the jump manual?

  • @masterdocker666 yes -- you could do the jump manual at age 13. there are some advanced exercises as part of the workout like squats, deadlifts, etc. that you for sure need to learn proper technique first. would also recommend starting with very light weights and/or doing mostly bodyweight exercises until you have learned proper technique. good luck!

  • @myjumpmanual Thank you very much!

  • @masterdocker666 sure! good luck with your training!

  • i'm 5'11" and I weight about 160lbs...need to gain more muscles but I have high metabolism so it's kinda difficult to gain weights.

  • @airbong23 i can relate...i'm one of those guys who has tried pretty much their whole life to gain weight. creatine and protein shakes have helped me so you might try that if you aren't already

  • thanks for the reply, I do about 245lbs squats, 185lbs calf raises(free weights), 25lbs for explosion jumps. I can hang on the rim, but I dont know why I still can't dunk. Maybe cause I'm a two feet jumper? BTW great results!

  • @airbong23 how tall are you and how much do you weigh?

  • hey, I've been doing jump manual for a year, and I gained about 6" but still unable to dunk yet. Just want to know how much weights you used for squatting and calf raises, and what weight dumbells did you use for weighted jumps? I need some comparisons (I'm 5'11" and 7'6" std reach) and see if i need to work harder to increase more weights on my exercises.

  • @airbong23 for squats my max down to parallel is around 275 and i weigh 172. my goal is squat 2x my weight and have a ways to go. for calf raises, i use one of those machines and i think i go up to like 315 for my heaviest set. for weighted jumps, i usually use a 10 lb dumbbell in each hand.

  • hey, im 15 and i play volleyball so i want to increase my vert. Do you think I should get jump manual or mabye air alert or boingvert. Also how long and how often are the workouts? just because i want to make sure i would have time for it if i bought it and i already have alot of vball practice. thanks

  • @oooTheMuffinManooo i've only done jump manual and i think it's great. jump manual workouts are 6 days per week and take me about 5 hours to do all the workouts during the week. i've posted a ton of into on my blog (see video description for the link) about jump manual if you want to check it out.

  • @myjumpmanual 5 hours total for the week? or a day? and do you think it would be worth it to buy it or try to just find the workouts?

  • @oooTheMuffinManooo 5 hours for the whole week. There are tons of free videos and articles out there on how to increase your vertical so you can always put together your own workout. For me, I liked having a complete program that had been used by others with success. good luck man!

  • @myjumpmanual Ok thanks man! My friend is getting it so im gunna wait a little and see how it works for him. Anyway good luck on operation tomahawk!

  • Im a 10th grade dunker

  • Hello, I'm 29, and approximately 5.9 ft. I have never trained to reach higher jump. I can reach to ring (O) of basket. Do you think that if I follow this program I can reach a higher jump?. Excuse me for my english.

  • @enriquegalapagos yes, i definitely think you would be able to jump higher! go for it man!

  • @myjumpmanual Mate, I'm 194cm high and I'm doing Air Alert 3.Will I dunk for 15 weeks? I mean, after final week of AA3? Thanks :)

  • And also I can usally only get one good dunk a day. Why is this?

  • Hey I'm 15 and I'm about 6'4 I have about a 20in. Jump I have been doing the program for about 2 weeks. When I started I could only dunk a girls ball of the run and I can still only dunk a girls a girls ball on the run. My goal is to stand under the rim and 2 hand a boys ball. Any advice?

  • Hey I'm 15 and I'm about 6'4 I have about a 20in. Jump I have been doing the program for about 2 weeks. When I started I could only dunk a girls ball of the run and I can still only dunk a girls a girls ball on the run. My goal is to stand under the rim and 2 hand a boys ball. Any advice?

  • @TheRed15Sox keep training! 2 weeks isn't that long. go hard for 12 weeks and you will likely be amazed at your results.

  • i'm at almost the same grab ability as you in the video i can jump with one foot and grab one hand, off two feet and hang with two hands, but i can't frikin palm the ball like you can so i can't dunk!! >:(

  • @wickedend6661 you will get it man! just keep practicing and training.

  • can you message me the schedule?

  • hey awesome job man trying to do what your doing its bloody hard work. keep posting vids good job :)

  • @kowy41 thanks man! good luck with your training!

  • my dunks coming soon

  • @24BoyFly cool. look forward to it!

  • I just way higher than that lmao

  • @24BoyFly that's great. happy for you! but, i guarantee there are a ton of guys who jump higher than you too. so what's the point? should you only post videos if you are TDub or Golden Child? i just want to jump higher and the videos provide extra motivation to keep working hard.

  • How tall are you? Im 5'6 and i can grab rim with 2 hands

  • @VongsterMobile i'm 5'11"

  • @myjumpmanual but i cant dunk, my hands arent big enough to grab a ball. sadd

  • @VongsterMobile damn u must jummp very high ... u r black?

  • @PrinceAng3ll no im asian. seriously, but I went to CA state finals for long jump (for high school) ;)

  • Hey I have ever wore a weighted vest during your training? I have the jump manual been on it well over 12 weeks and still yet to grab the rim with two hands. Any tips or advice?

  • @ilikebirds120 i haven't done a weighted vest but have thought about it. i think you posted on my blog? i replied to your comments/questions there if you want to go check it out. i do have some suggestions for you.

  • @myjumpmanuel I have the program and it seems like there's a ton of off days and not a lot to do on workou days... Do I have to just trust that it's the best way to jump higher?

  • @fndfnd1 the jump manual is 6 days per week so only 1 day completely off per week and you should still stretch that day. there are 2 days per week where you do what are called "off-day" exercises. they don't take very long and are super important.

  • @myjumpmanual I live in Puerto Rico. so for example, if I order jump manual today, how long it's gonna take to be delivered at my home??

  • @ezedk20 the jump manual is an ebook that you download to your computer. you can download it immediately after you purchase it.

  • Post the other weeks

  • @KanyeWet i have videos posted on this channel for each week during my first 12 weeks of jumpmanual training. week #2 progress video got removed by YouTube for some unknown reason but the rest are there.

  • Im 5 10 and i did the jump manual too but i never finished it, i have a vid of me almost getting my elbow to the rim of an alley, but i was in pants so i couldve gone higher btw im 16 154lbs and hispanic

  • look, I'm only 5'7". I weight around 141- 143 pounds. what equipment I can use to do the jump manual program??

  • @ezedk20 the jump manual includes exercises like squats, dead lifts, lunges, etc. so ideal if you have access to weights. i workout at gold's gym. i also do many of the workouts at home using a medicine ball, dumb bells, and a jump rope.

  • @myjumpmanual what if I don't have a medicine ball??

  • @ezedk20 buy one! totally worth it. you can do tons of exercises with one. got mine on amazon for like $30. if you can't get one then find something heavy you can throw. another option is to make one using an old basketball by cutting a hole and filling it with sand and then taping it up. haven't looked but bet there are some youtube videos on making a homemade medicine ball.

  • @myjumpmanual ok. I told I weight between 141 and 143 pounds. how much the medicine ball must weight?

  • @ezedk20 i use a 10 lb medicine ball and like that weight. would not go lighter than that. i'd like to got a 15 lb and 20 lb one too

  • @myjumpmanual so, you recomend me a medicine ball that weights 10lb??

  • @ezedk20 yes

  • @myjumpmanual ok; I'll try the program

  • @ezedk20 Type "homemade medicine ball" into the YouTube search. I made a 23 lb ball using babbis13's tutorial

  • barely

  • @RossTheBalla05 can you dunk? post some vids.

  • Yeah im in good shape. Another question when you did you squats or deadlifts or whatever how much weight did you decide to take off on the fifth set when you would go to failure.

  • @Maybach3233 maybe around 40-80 lbs? you will figure out what works for you after you have done the workout a couple of times.

  • @myjumpmanual how tall are you???

  • @sonicskills123 I'm 5'11"

  • For the Medicine ball throws and approaches how much weight did you use?

  • @Maybach3233 10 lb medicine ball

  • @myjumpmanual Ok thats good. Now I just started the first jump manual workout today. Now the Manual says that you shouldnt feel tiredness in your muscles but after the depth jumps and weight explosions I felt a fatigue that stayed with me thruout the workout. If I feel a burn during the reps I stop but am I doing something wrong? How did you feel fatigue during your plyo workouts?

  • @Maybach3233 are you good in shape? if you haven't been really active recently, then the plyo's will probably kick your butt. if you are already pretty fit, then the plyo's shouldn't be too tiring. you are focusing on really exploding instead of getting really tired

  • love the weekly update, your progress was awesome, are you moving onto some sort of a phase 2? or do you repeat the same program again with jump manual?

  • @ausballer24 thanks man! yes - i'm repeating the jump manual but with a few tweaks. hoping to throw down 2 hand tomahawk by january.

  • thanks for posting man, you're the first person i found that actually does it week by week
