  • great performance

    LOVE Queen!!!

  • Am I the only one who noticed that Freddie got the lyrics mixed up?

  • @amegland: This gig was one year befor the official release of the song on Queen II. I guess they changed the lyrics in this year.

  • @mori1bund That could explain everything. Thanks for your time! =)

  • one of their best live recordings

  • so you've gone to see Mott or Mott the Hoople or something and this is the SUPPORT act !!!!!!!!! lol poor old headline act innit

  • great version!

  • lucky enough to see queen live twice...will never forget!

  • GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Exactly to me the first 4 albums were Rawer and their best they´re are my favourites !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CHURINFUNFLAIS Absolutely!! I Couldn't Agree more. My sister brought home Queen 2 in 1974 and blasted side BLACK, my draw dropped, I was hooked and saved my money to by Sheer Heart Attack and Queen, blasted them all year and then a Night at the Opera Came Out, and I was 1st on line

  • Exactly to me the first 4 albums were Rawer and their best they´re are my favourites !!!!!

  • Magic.

  • Prachtig nummer, het was hier al duidelijk dat een grote band aanstaande was!

  • Who played the second guitar on the intro, Was it John?

  • @undertone13 I don't know and I want know it too

  • @undertone13 Queen would play the recorded intro and Brian would come in with the power chord.

  • It just makes me smile when the opening narrator says "one of the hottest new bands around"

If only he knew at the time how big they would become :D

  • .

Please get ready for some Goose bumps!

  • sobresaliente es esta banda.......

    me encanta

  • Respond to this video...do you think freddie mercury would win american idol ?

  • amazing

  • Fuckin 7/8 timing!!!!! count it out players!!!!

  • what are you talking about? when is it 7/8 timing?

  • i love the sound of the guitar o GOD IT'S AMAZING

  • brian may. my man 4 the guitar.

  • amazing guitar

  • volume to the max, treble booster on and play. This sounds so raw. always loved this song.

  • this song wasn't this album though it was Queen II

  • Now THIS is the Queen that I like.

  • @NotoriousNightOwl me too. Queen were the best i these days. They got to mainstream in the 80s.

  • God....you just know they were going to be great even back then?...to this day I've never heard anyone sing like Freddy...and Brian playing just awesome guitar...

  • jesus...they blew Mott off the stage...and I was there to see Mott the Hoople...love Ian but...Queen blew them away....

  • the beginning of this was a tape as they came onstage and picked up their instruments (I think outside of the bass drum)....everyone was cheering....(there were rumors that Queen was replaced by Amazing Blondell...but when they took the cover off the drum set...that was the end of that..) then they just kicked ass.....

  • omg...this is what they opened with when I saw them as the opener for Mott....it killed...

  • where did u get this?? if it's a radio broadcast from 1973, how could u record it back then w/ such clarity? i'm not doubting- i'm just wondering. by the way,... i love the guy at the end, "they're not playing 'keep yourself alive'. Stuff from the NEW album that's doing nicely." .......man this is goin back!

  • when I saw them back then...this doesn't even do justice to Freddy's voice...and they played everything from the first two albums...I mean this just blew ppl away...my friends and I knew Queen...but the second album wasn't out yet?....this is how early Queen was!!!

  • Brian May guitar is fecking class! Queen Forever!

  • they opened so many doors that needed to be opened. god bless you freddie.

  • great!

  • Fantasic done!!!

  • Awesome! I prefer the early Queen years than the later stuff after the Game. I love Queen's music none the less but, the harder rock sound from 1973 to 1980 is great.

  • Couldn't agree more

  • I mostly agree, but Innuendo is one of their best albums.

  • I couldn't agree more with all you...

  • I tottaly agree with you, early Queen is great, from the coplexity of queens "The march of the black Queen", "The prophets song" its great, and freddies vocals are higher, wich is a plus, but either way, Queen, from First album to last are None the less THEE greates band Ever... and i stand by that Very strongly...

  • finally a live full version of this dude keep it up this is awesome
