Just one thing: The intro riff is not played (by Mastodon) the way you do it, it's supposed to be like this:

On the high D string:

12-0-12-0-12-s-15-0-11-0-11-0-­8-0-7-8-0-

and you do a legato slide on 12-15 (that's what the "S" stands for).

actually there's a video of bill playing it in the studio, he's strumming the b-string instead of going down the neck :) you might be right on the slide part though.

Then he probably has to ways of playing it, 'cause that's what I saw live (Brent did the same thing)... Anyway, I guess it's a matter of preference in the end : )...
