If we can improve our D-line, we're halfway to the 2011 NFC South crown. Our offense is in place, and if our D steps up, it'll be very fun to be a Buc next season... Go Bucs!

@trojan12kelley I agree, offense can be tweaked, especially the line, but is mostly in place. On the D-line, I like the upside of McCoy, Price, and Miller on the interior. Al Woods, who joined late in the season, also a rookie, showed some potential as well. They still need to practice better gap control on run plays, but that hopefully will come with experience. DE is the obvious position we need to upgrade on defense, and we may have to replace Ruud.

@bobbythebomb21 I didn't even think about those aspects... Also, we need to have a contingency plan in place if Tanard Jackson is not reinstated and/or he does not re-sign. And if the Detroit game is any indicator, we need to practice better coverage and tackling, cause Calvin Johnson torched us, and that game could have gotten us in the playoffs...

@trojan12kelley Yeah, we can't rely on T-Jack coming back, and even if he does it won't be until September at the earliest so he wont really be available the first few games. Sean Jones was solid, but an upgrade, or at least some safety depth, would be nice. As far as Megatron and the Det game, remember Talib was on IR by then. Despite losing him along with T-Jack and Grimm, we still finished the year with the 7th best pass defense in the league, which will improve drastically with a pass rush.

Let us hope when Cody Grimm and Tanard Jackson come back(Move Grimm to SS - Raheem already said T-Jack is coming back) some defensive punishment comes with it. Our D was more shifty then punishing this year. Grimm gave a glimpse of ferocity but that was short lived. I hope this new D can be even half of what the old Tampa D was. Couple that with the fact that the Bucs O has the potential to be one of the most feared in the league and a couple championship are bound to happen. Very exciting.

@Mauhadeeb28 I agree pretty much with all you said except about T-Jack. I don't remember Rah saying that - it doesn't matter if he did anyway. Fact is he isn't eligible for reinstatement until September, which means the season will be starting and he wouldn't have been around the team for a year. That's assuming he even is reinstated right away, which is far from guaranteed.

@Mauhadeeb28 Even if he does come back, then we're gonna trust him to be a solid citizen after apparently having 3 "offenses" against the NFL's Substance Abuse Policy? I'd love nothing more than for T-Jack to come back and be the player he can be for us, but at this point it's not looking likely and the Bucs certainly can't rely on it. I think they get a safety somewhere in the mid-rounds of the draft to compete with the solid Sean Jones, and if Jackson is reinstated, they'll go from there.

@gammonnicholas I agree, he definitely should be, but I couldn't find a spot for him. I felt I couldn't put him in the "past" section because he's still a part of the present. On the other hand, the 2010 section is really about the future and there's no telling how much of that he'll be a part of. I dealt with the problem by ignoring him completely, and he does deserve better than that!
