Couldn't the power button have been made to activate the saber when spun, rather than pressed? That definitely would help to eliminate accidental activation, and you would be able to have the power switch in the appropriate location.

Hey Jengo, nice hilt. I was wondering, how could you make a Qui-gon hilt locally? I found a website and they said to use pvc for the inner hilt and a sinktube for the overlays, except for I want to use my Ultra Sound 2.5 board for the sound. Would the pvc be safe enough for that or would it melt? Thanks.

They are made from Polycarbonate tubing
