Sometimes they would leave the hospital if they felt they didn't receive enough attention go home call 911 again and go to a different hospital. All in the same night.

How many of ya'll have made a call like this where the chief complaint was an erection lasting over 4 hours? Yes. Yes I did! And he was NOT OLD. And we did transport via MICU.

I'm with you. If I do take someone like this to the hospital, I make it a BLS level call and notify the ED by radio that we have a potential triage pt so they know the pt can go the the waiting room if they wish them to.
Not pooping you I had a patient call for athletes foot pain. Her feet were gross and a problem long going. It was about midnight and as we were walking her to the ambulance she said see you at the hospital to her boyfriend. When said let us help u in HIS car she said she had a green coupon (DSHS) and she didn't want to wait in the waiting room. Well guess what we transported her the the waiting room! Then I called DSHS and filed a complaint. That was the worst case in 15yrs in the fire service
