  • Old video I know. Just picked up a Becker BK11 ($25 off eBay NEW). I added jimping to a couple knives and need to do this one, too. How come you haven't tested the BK11?

  • yeah its definately just a lemon. my pika locks up solid, the deployment was a little slow when i first got it but it is very slick now. for the price the pika ll pretty much rocks.

  • is this not an assisted opening knife?

  • pika 2 or spyderco persistence? which one would you choose?

  • @ivageivage persistence hands down

  • hey I broke my knife, it's just like that. like when you flip it out, it doesn't lock the blade so I have to hold it down and that's not very safe. How do I get it to lock when there is no lock at all?

  • nutnfancy, u must have gotten a factory lemon, cause no one else who made a review had a lock protrusion problem, or as much wiggle in the blade

  • Yeah, mines almost flawless aside from the pocket clip strength.

  • i had 0 blade play and everything was flush, it was pretty easy to open, and the jimping was ok

  • I used this same technique to improve the pathetic jimping on the ka-bar tdi last ditch knife. (The little one).

  • im not a fan of knives with the hole but this looks cool.

  • I'm not sure how your modification improved the knife. In fact, the existing hole and the taper of the cutting edge both weaken the blade laterally already. Then you removed metal from the only remaining full width section of the blade right in that already weakened area. Don't use it to pry anything sideways, it won't take much to brake it.

If someone realy felt the need to put grooves where you did, it would be best to use a small rat tail file and not go very deep.

  • shut up dumbass don't try and lecture nutnfancy about blades

  • My comment was not intended to offend, & I apologise for upsetting you. You are loyal to your friend and I consider that a great virtue. The human personal points however, do not alter the realities of engineering principles. The fact remains that less material usually means less strength. That is not true in every situation, but it is in this one. Please explain how the blade has not been weakened.

  • @deezynar

as soon as he said he messed with the jimping, i thought, with that hole there, it definately weakend its preformance, and if you cant understand that (not you, but others) you prolly need to go back to high school!

  • punk is dead loser

  • damm i was going to get that knife but newgraham was out of stock =I

  • That's really a nice knife! Love the jimping fix ya did i am definately gonna try this on my knives.. thanx

  • love the blade profile.nice shape

  • Cute.

Pikachu PEEK not PINK. If you are talking about the Japanese character by that name.

    Keep the lovely videos coming.

  • i wanna try that,, you shouldve put it in a vice though man be careful

  • good vid! i dit it with a buck knive,. and it works 4real,.not much work,.but ow so efectif

check out my channel,of a quick review

have a nice day all :))

  • lol pikachu

  • Great Vid! Do you ever sleep? You put out alot of vids. Thanks

  • Nice mods Nutn. I'm impressed. I like to see this sort of thing being offered.

    Good work.

    You'll be making knives next!

  • Another great and helpful vid. Modifying a tool to suit your needs is much better than tossing it and trying to find something more suitable to pay for. Thanks.

  • To avoid this problem check out the original Pika knife. I have a full review showing the much deeper and functional jimping.

    Nutn A+ as usual!

  • Slick mod bro. Benchmade needs to put in some work with the Red Class. Blue Class rules. The Red Class leaves much to be desired when compared to other similarly priced knives. Have you seen the Chad Los Banos knives from Boker? They rule. Peace.

  • after you "chipped" the blade out cutting tree branches; i returned two benchmades the shoki (cheap immatation of William Henry) and a pardue (just not trusting it) I think I'm all done with benchmade knives.

  • Noooo! you cant give them up they make quality knives, just some a little better than others

  • Class A vid nutnfancy. ;) -Jonny

  • Nutnfancy is my favorite review. I watch it daily. Keep going....

  • if you can... review about range finders :-)

  • lol! Pikaaa TWOOOOooo!

  • HA HA!

  • Pika Po! LOL! Not a big benchmade fan. However, I like the review though.

  • Thats what I like to see.I cant stand people that just complain about something and do nothing.

If you have a problem with it,FIX IT.

Which is exactly what he did,

    Great job Nutn

  • Lol, Great video man! Love them all! Leep up the great work!

    Appreciated! Mrr
