  • @andrewlilc Thank you very much for the compliment!! GBU

  • Most impressive... Cooking meets slight of hand, Kobudo and the jester all at once. It must take significant time to learn this and still prepare food properly.

  • Can he cook?

  • @memadman yes I can...please check out my other video it's call experience the teppanyaki cooking arts, i hope you enjoy.

  • Only suggestion, loosen up bit, it looks stiff and awkward (I'm also a chef and I can't do all the moves, but the show i put on is more fluid). Moves wise this is excellent, just need to work on making the whole thing flow without the awkward pauses.

  • @sikkema88 Flow my ass, that was some of the coolest moves ever. He doesn't need to flow anything.

  • @joshewashy thank you Josh...i really appreciate the support. have a great day brother !!

  • @joshewashy I said his moves were excellent, there is no doubt about that lol. some of the throws he sets himself up for it, and it looks awkward, the poses, the squatting. I was just saying loosen up in the shoulders and wrists and this show would look twice as good as it already does my friend. my post was not meant for disrespect, just constructive criticism. As a teppan chef, I appreciate when people give me tips on what I could improve, as most chef's do. Modesty is something we focus on.

  • @sikkema88 thank you so very much for the suggestion, i really appreciate it. will do bro !!

  • Truly amazing.. you should do some training videos.. i would pay to learn these technics.

  • Nice. Now fry an egg.

  • I was a cook for years, and I can tell you that if I tried this at work - I would have a hand off in no time LOL - I am amazed by his skills... And yes people there is a big difference between cook and Chef...

  • thank you so very much for the compliment...

i wish you all the best !!

  • Agreed, but you can't take a hand off with a turner and a fork.

    Haha.

  • If there was a way I could do it LOL I am that clumsy :)

  • first : put a knife in your left hand

second : put a spoon-bill in the right one.

    last : change...

    Bon appétit....

  • Merdeka !!!

  • awesome!

  • Ok, can you also cook? ... just joke ;-) ... very great show!

  • Teppanyaki isn't about the food. It's basically just food sauted in oil and soy sauce. It's all about the showmanship and this guy is pro, but i'd like to see what he does with actual food not just an empty flat griddle.

  • please check out my other video it's call Experience the teppenayki cooking art. hope you enjoy..

  • matur nuwun mas djoko,,triknya aku coppas untuk belajar he.....he....

  • Amazing !!! very good tricks queep going !!

  • Is there really a way for amateur chefs (like myself) to learn this art? All types of answers are appreciated.

  • well you can do anything if you put your mind to it. this guy obviously has a sincere love for cooking/entertainment and i think if you share a common interest you should definitely learn.

  • I started doing Teppanyaki like 2 or 3 weeks ago in a japaness restaurant. The first time i was so shy and only doing my cooking and not watching the clients in their eyes...

But after 2 or 3 times i started to speak with them and now i even make jokes with them and try to do some tricks like this chef.

The best way for you is only to pratice at home or find a job in a restaurant.

It ask time to become like him and dont worry, it dont always work and when people watching it quit embarassing

  • its amazing....where can i learn those tricks..

  • thats was damn cooool :D

the food must feel crazy 'cause of all that spinning xD

  • thank you man, i really appreciate it..

  • esta men si es un brabo pa eso

  • hmm.. by the french definition, "Chef" is equivalent to "Chief."

In fact Julia Child admitted that despite her fame coming from the show "The French Chef," that she herself was not a chef, because she was never directed a working kitchen.

  • The English use of the word chef has become a term that is sometimes used to mean any professional cook, regardless of rank... Specialized and hierarchal chef titles are usually found only in fine-dining, upscale restaurants; kitchen staff members at casual restaurants such as diners are more often called "cook" or "short-order cook".

    -

  • Julia Child isn't English?

I think you're confusing "usage" with "mis-usage." Younger generations are mis-using the word, to give themselves a title that they haven't earned. Just like "sanitation engineer."

  • Impressive skills.. but isn't a "chef" somebody in charge of a professional kitchen? Not just a cook?

  • Dude your fucking amazing

  • Awesome work...As a chef I can really appreciate what this style of cooking entails, do you have any advice or tips for someone who would be interested in this?

  • unbelievable
